Job Responsibilities

• New product planning:

- Analyse industrial trends, market data and customer insights to derive constructive ideas and information for the purpose of NPD.

- Define product competitive positioning and unique selling proposition (USP).

• New product development (NPD):

- Responsible for entire NPD process; from concept initiation to completion, for both new product and reformulations.

- Take the lead in close collaboration with cross functional teams such as Regulatory, Marketing, Supply chain, Contract manufacturers, R&D and Quality, for seamless on-time delivery of products.

- Source for contract manufacturers and liaise with formulators to develop new product; be the main contact point with these suppliers for NPD/ formulation discussions.

- Review formulas and ingredient/ design statements for new product that is compliant with regulations.

- Familiar with the concept of product challenge test, stability, and compatibility studies.

- Research market prices, create accurate product costing data and propose product pricing.

• New product introduction:

- Conduct product training to regional trainer/marketing team and key leaders of salesforce.

• Post-launch product management:

- Analyse product performance and identify actions required.

- Manage product feedback and propose technically sound customer-centric reply.

- React to necessary corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) raised by Quality.

• Contribute for and implement standard procedures (in compliance with industrial standards and QMS requirements) for any product development and management activities or as assigned.
• Perform other duties and projects as necessary to meet company goals.

Requirements

• Degree in Cosmetic Science or Chemistry.

• Minimum 2 years of experience in product development/ management in the cosmetic and skin care industry.

• Bonus if candidates have prior experience with beauty/personal care/medical device.

Responsibilities:

· Manage full set of accounts, including invoicing, receipt updates, vendor invoice processing, payment arrangements, journal entries, inter-company charges, bank reconciliation, balance sheet schedules, fixed assets registers, and general ledger maintenance.

· Manage month-end closing process and ensure all month-end journals, AP and AR sections are closed promptly.

· Preparation of Monthly Financial Statements for Management Reporting.

· Prepare and Review all Balance Sheet Schedule to its control accounts including bank reconciliations.

· Liaise with external/internal auditors as required.

· Handle and ensure compliance with all finance filing requirements, audits, and tax filings

· Assist with forecasting and budgeting exercises

· Administrative duties such as checking of mails from letterbox, taking minutes of meeting for Staff Meetings, sending Whatsapp broadcast message, etc

· Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned.

Requirements:

· Minimum Diploma in Accountancy with at least 3 years’ working experience

· Possess strong analytical skills.
