• Handle daily warehouse operations such as packing, receiving, loading and unloading of goods
• Ensure goods are correctly prepared for delivery
• Fulfil all assigned deliveries on time, as per schedule
• Upkeep and maintain good housekeeping of the warehouse
• Perform any other duties as and when assigned

Requirement:

• Candidate must possess a valid Class 3 driving license with good driving record
• Requires to handle heavy loads/ items
• Good team player who is able to work independently when required.
• Well-organised and possess a positive, keen to learn attitude.
• Able to multi-task and work well in fast-paced environment.

Singapore Vehicle Traders Association (SVTA) would be holding its 50th Golden Jubilee Gala Dinner cum CNY Celebration and Scholarship / Bursary Award 2024 on 2nd February 2024 (Friday) at Central West Ballroom, Resorts World Convention Centre Level B2 @ 8 Sentosa Gateway, Resorts World Sentosa, Singapore 098269.

We need to hire five (5) part-time workers for up to $12/hr, to assist with item preparations for the event, from 1.00pm to 5.00pm (may be extended to 6pm) as follows:

a) Shall be responsible for packing of items into goodie bags.

b) To assist with errands for the event.

Responsibilities:

• Verify and seek approvals for accounts payable/ receivable
• Post account entries to the system
• Handle petty cash reimbursement and bank matters
• Manage outstanding payables/ receivables, bank reconciliation, monthly cost reports, quarterly GST filing, cashflow forecast
• Preparation of audit and tax schedules
• Monitor lease for equipment & assets
• Attend to auditors’ requirement

Requirements:

• Recognised Diploma in Accountancy or Business Administration
• Min 2-3 of relevant working experience in similar position
• Committed, meticulous, and a good team player
• Able to work independently in a fast paced environment
• Work location will be based in Tuas (Pick up transport will be provided at Joo Koon MRT)
