[What you will be working on]

You will be responsible for the following:

• Manage and monitor surveillance technology to augment enforcement operations

• Manage vendors and contracts such as raise work orders, manage contract utilisation and upkeep of service and quality standards

• Plan and carry out enforcement operations

• Attend to related enquiries and troubleshooting issues

• Maintain and monitor quality of enforcement engagements

[What you will be working on]

In this role, you will help to review and implement policies with a focus on the

Environmental Control Officer for Specified Construction Sites [ECO(SCS)] scheme in Singapore.

• Work with the team on the formulation and review of operational policies and procedures to support NEA’s strategic objectives
• Conduct research and analysis to identify best practices and regulatory requirements for policy development
• Evaluate existing policies and recommend updates or revisions to ensure relevance and effectiveness
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather inputs and feedback on proposed policies
• Review key pieces of legislation in consultation with legal department and undertake the required Act amendments
• Work with stakeholders to identify training gaps, develop competency framework, review Code of Practice and enhance training curriculum for relevant industries
• Engage stakeholders and industry to communicate policy changes, updates and/or share best practices via newsletters, organisation of webinar/seminar or other means
• Handle complex queries, feedback and appeal cases
• Coordinate meetings and assist in secretariat duties

Administer and follow up with intervention to address the results of Employee Engagement & Pulse Surveys conducted. This includes organising small group conversations, making presentations to senior leaders and large group of audience.

Design & Development of Learning Interventions  

• Develop face-to-face/online learning curriculum for staff training with the objective of achieving/maintaining selected SCS-specific skills. 

• Embrace different types of training techniques, including e-learning, videos, tutorials and resource guides etc. Create training materials and ensure that quality standards are met. Create e-learning materials in a learning platform (learning management system) when needed.  

• Be creative and bold in the use of Gamification to enhance employees learning experience

• Continuously seek out and adapt latest and most appropriate instructional design and learning technology techniques, theories and methodologies to create unique and engaging content to meet the needs of our target audience.

• Identify competencies gaps and various learning activities for the Future of Work.

• Ability to conduct stand up training will be an advantage.

Requirements

The ideal candidate should have the following

• A Degree with minimum 3 or more years of relevant experience in the areas of Organisation Development & Learning, including design of learning intervention and evaluation of training programmes.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Familiar with digital learning tools and platforms.

• Must be prepared to be hands-on.

• Those with training qualification such as ACTA, ACLP, DACE and DDDLP will be an advantage.

[What you will be working on:]
•    Manage Product Users’ Engagement by supporting Product Managers in developing strategies and plans to engage internal and external stakeholders to launch, implement, drive adoption, awareness, and education of Products, such as NLB Mobile App, Seat Booking System, Express Borrowing Gantry, and also future Products such as Content Discovery app. 
•    Assist Product Managers to collect and collate Product data from multiple channels, e.g., web statistics, app statistics, user feedback and perform basic analysis to help Product Managers better understand the asks and needs of the users with simple insights. Work closely with other data teams to track results and translate insights into actions.
•    Assist Product Managers in managing the Product Backlog by recording new user stories and setting initial priority for them. Follow up with Product Managers to set up regular Product Backlog refinement sessions.
•    Assist Product Managers or ScrumMasters in organising agile activities and to update/ upkeep Agile tools like JIRA, etc.

•    At least one year of relevant working experience, preferably in a product-focused organisation. Fresh graduates with the relevant knowledge are welcomed to apply.

Work location will be at the Marine Parade Public Library. As the library is currently closed for renovation, the current work location is at the National Library Building.
