About the role
You will find yourself in a unique role, a Jack of all trades, master of none hat is what you will wear as you will move from one role to another to manage and support a start-up team. You will be required to perform balancing acts and think on your feet in this fast-paced atmosphere.
Responsibilities
In this diverse role, you will manage the needs of the staff and the office. Responsibilities include but not limited to;
- Promote HR best practices that are relevant to the business needs and consult management on HR matters including but not limited to performance management, manpower reporting & analysis, and budgeting
- Provide support and lead audits in relation to HR matters with external parties including but not limited to Ministry of Manpower, Inland Revenue Authority of Singapore and external auditors
- Updating and maintaining HRS, Talenox
- Coordinating and organising all internal social events
- Managing administrative accounts and providers including but not limited to ordering all office supplies, stationary and pantry supplies
- Checking staff’s expenses on Expensify
- Manage meeting and travel schedules for CEO
- Creating and editing presentations for CEO
- Maintain registry for contracts and documents and inplement systematic way of filing contracts and documents
- Provide support for Corporate Secretary work limited to liaising with appointed external Corporate Secretary agent
- Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned
Skills / Experience
You will be someone with a passion for organization and supporting a business to achieve success. Key skills, and experience include but not limited to;
- 2+ years of experience in a similar role preferably gained in a start-up role
- BA Degree holder
- Experience in HRS, Talenox and Expensify is appreciated
- Knowledge of Ministry of Manpower rules, regulations and guidelines
- Knowledge of Inland Revenue Authority of Singapore’s rules, regulations and guidelines in terms of employee’s employment income
- Graphic design skillset is appreciated, exposure to Adobe Illustrator and other design softwares
- Ability to juggle and prioritize multiple tasks at once and possess the flexibility with can-do attitude to take on duties that are outside of what is required of an office manager
- High level of initiative and a proactive approach to work, with the ability to follow through on all tasks
- Cheerful and pleasant disposition
- Good command of English, written and spoken as you will be tasked to draft up and communicate HR policies and Marketing / Branding material
