Grab's Public Affairs team builds partnerships with governments to support national policy agendas, engage constructively with government and other partners on public policy discussions, and guide projects to maximise the positive potential of technology to create impact in Southeast Asia. You will be fully on-site.

Responsibilities

Support strategy implementation for Grab's public affairs teams:

• You will work with Grab's regional and country public affairs teams to analyse and provide insights on public policy issues, develop positions and recommendations to promote Grab's social mission
• You will develop strategies and projects related to Grab's public affairs goals
• You will work with other teams at Grab to develop public affairs-related plans and projects

Support Grab's efforts on public affairs:

• You will research on public policy issues that are at the intersection of technology and society
• You will work with other teams at Grab to develop campaigns that build our reputation as a trusted industry leader in our markets, e.g. planning of dialogues and roundtable discussions
• You will develop collateral and materials that create industry insights to inform our markets

Help develop partnerships with government, community and private partners to support Grab's public affairs work:

• You will coordinate between external partners and other teams to build partnership programmes

Job Description: Regulatory Affairs Intern

Location: Singapore
Department: Regulatory Affairs
Duration: 6 months

Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented intern to join our Regulatory Affairs team. As a Regulatory Affairs Intern, you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the preparation, submission, and monitoring of regulatory documents for healthcare/medical devices/pharmaceutical products. You will work closely with the Regulatory Affairs team to ensure compliance with local, regional, and international regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the preparation and submission of regulatory documents (e.g., product registration, amendments, and renewals).
• Review and compile necessary documentation to ensure regulatory compliance for products.
• Conduct regulatory research to stay up to date with current guidelines and requirements in target markets.
• Help in maintaining regulatory databases and records.
• Support the coordination and communication with regulatory bodies, health authorities, and notified bodies as required.
• Review product labeling and marketing materials to ensure compliance with applicable regulations.
• Assist in managing correspondence with internal stakeholders and cross-functional teams (e.g., R&D, Quality Assurance) regarding regulatory activities.
• Participate in department meetings and provide input as required.
• Perform other administrative duties and projects as assigned by the Regulatory Affairs team.

Qualifications:

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, Biomedical Engineering, Regulatory Affairs, or a related field.
• Interest in regulatory affairs, healthcare regulations, or medical devices/pharmaceuticals.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Previous internship or work experience in a related field is a plus but not required.
