Retail Manager

We are looking for a high-performing Sales Manager to help us meet our customer acquisition and revenue growth targets by keeping our company competitive and innovative. You will be responsible for maximizing our sales team potential, crafting sales plans and justifying those to plans to the upper management.

Retail Manager Responsibilities

• Achieve growth and hit sales targets by successfully managing the sales team
• Consistently come up with strategies to attract potential clientele
• Coach and manage team of sales representatives
• Cultivate strong, long-lasting customer relationships by identifying and working on unmet client needs
• Present sales, revenue and expenses reports and realistic forecasts to the management team
• Identify shifting market trends and competition status
• Review and generate monthly strategy reports to increase sales
• Perform any other duties assigned by the director

Retail Manager Requirements and Skills

• High fluency in Tamil, Hindi, Malay, and English language is mandatory for this role
• At least five years experience in a relavent field
• BA/MS degree in business administration or a related field
• Highly decisive, able to frequently negotiate and communicate with key stakeholders and business partners to maximise sales growth
• Generating detailed monthly sales reports alongside quarterly sales analysis and business expansion proposals
• Successful previous experience as a sales representative or sales manager, consistently meeting or exceeding targets
• Demonstrate ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization
• Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close
• Strong business sense and industry expertise
• Excellent mentoring, coaching and people management skills
• Knowledge of data analysis and report writing
• Availability to work during extended hours (e.g. evenings, public holidays, weekends)
• Oversee employee monthly roster and schedule independently
• Independently manage and assign staff to perform basic duties such as housekeeping, inventory, sales end transactions
• Analyse stock replenishment and prevent overstocking or stockouts
• Conduct regular inventory checks and resolve discrepancies

Job Responsibilities

- Provide advice to internal stakeholders on all procurement-related matters and ensure they are compliant with Company Procurement Policy.

- Perform vendor screening, supply market research and analytical studies to identify and select potential suppliers to be added to the pre-approved vendor list.

- Prepare RFQ/Tender documents

- Review and evaluate quotations from vendor

- Coordinate purchasing activities and services based on company’s needs.

- Monitor process and supplier performance and resolve issues with suppliers.

- Manage and analyze expense data with the objective to derive cost saving opportunities.

- Monitor contracts and renewal prior to expiry

- Any other duties assigned by manager

Requirements

- Min 3 years of relevant experience in the F&B industry

- Knowledge of MS Office (Google Drive)

Job Responsibilities

- Work closely with the management and business unit heads to meet the business' HR needs.

- Ensuring employees follow all policies and procedures

- Assessing reports provided by the HR team, team leaders and operations managers to determine employee performance and training needs

- Suggesting changes in policies and procedures based on employee and company needs

- Researching compensation standards set by industry and governing bodies in order to create salary structures and administer employee benefits

- Creating recruitment plans, interview schedules and evaluation standards in accordance with HR methodologies and labor laws

- Supervising all HR activities, communications, reports, requests and documents created and received by the team

- Attending interdepartmental meetings with other managers

- Overseeing exit interviews and procedures

Requirements

- Min 5 years of relevant experience with 2 years in managerial role, preferably in the F&B industry

- Strong computer skills and experience with office management and communication software

- Expert in labor laws set by governing authorities and organizations

Client Portfolio Management

• Lead and manage a portfolio of clients, providing end to end support offering a seamless and comprehensive suite of services encompassing Corporate Secretarial, Accounting, Financial reporting, Payroll, Courses and Tax Compliance.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, understanding their specific needs and delivering tailored solutions.
• Build and develop the rapport with new and existing clients to keep them satisfied with our services in order to get the most possible renewals.

Content Development & Portfolio Acquisition

• Develop and implement comprehensive social media content that aligns with overall marketing objectives and business goals. Create and manage a content calendar (daily posts) on individual Tiktok/Instagram/Youtube
• Track, analyze, and report on performance metrics using social media analytics and native insights. Use data to inform and optimize future strategies.
• Stay current with trends, platform updates, and best practices. Identify new opportunities and propose innovative ideas to keep the brand relevant and ahead of the competition.
• Attending face to face client meeting to understand business needs and consultatively pitch our solutions.
• Build and enhance relationship with clients to grow portfolio.
• Report on sales activity on a weekly basis.
• Other general admin duties as assigned.

Requirements

Responsibilities:

• Drive e-commerce growth by developing onsite sales and engagement campaigns
• Provide analysis & performance reports including daily, weekly, and monthly, reporting of KPIs and recommending changes to improve performance as to achieve results.
• Drive digital planning, adaptive marketing and agile practices that best engages the consumers.
• Manage and constantly improve on the development and implementation of all e-commerce sites managed by the Company, including own e-commerce, marketplaces (Lazada, Amazon) and 3rd-party retailer sites.
• Create and execute digital marketing campaigns to increase site sales performance
• Optimized UX/UI to improve user experience and increase sales conversion.
• Explore new e-commerce features to capture the latest and newest trend of consumer behavior.
• Work with external and internal stakeholders to develop and execute optimization for product and brand content.
• Define and develop KPI framework to measure and track KPIs and ensure growth effectiveness.
• Evaluate e-commerce campaign and spend effectiveness to ensure positive ROI and recommend data driven learnings for future campaigns
• Manage the e-commerce team and being responsible for the day-to-day operations aspects of the e-commerce platform including but not limited to user experience, order fulfilment, customer service and content creation.
• Review the e-commerce team resources for skills training, career advancement and recruitment.
• Manage off-shore Customer Care / e-commerce support officer who oversee responding to customer inquiries on live-chat and emails.

Requirements:

• Possess degree in Business Administration or equivalent.
• At least 5 years of proven experience in related field, of which 2 years is of managerial capacity.
• Prior experience in digital marketing strategy.
• Proficient in SEO, Woocommerce, Shopify, Wordpress.
• Solid knowledge of web analytics tools like Google Analytics.
• Ability to handle a small team.
• Self-driven and motivated.
