Job Responsibilities:

• General flip-chip BGA package design & engineering

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE & REQUIREMENTS:

• B.Eng (EE/EEE) or similar field and 5+ years’ experience in flip-chip-BGA package design, including high-speed SerDes
• M.Eng (EE/EEE) or similar field and 3+ years’ experience in flip-chip-BGA package design, including high-speed SerDes
• Knowledge of package-level signal integrity and power integrity, to apply to package designs
• Cadence APD (allegro package designer) experience is preferred. Equivalent tool is OK.
• Cooperate with our world-wide team (multiple time zones), including co-design with internal team members and external (Vendor) designers.
• Good organizational and task management skills to manage multiple package design projects.

PREFERRED EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE & REQUIREMENTS:

• B.Eng (EE/EEE) or similar field and 8+ years’ experience in flip-chip-BGA package design, including high-speed SerDes preferred.
• M.Eng (EE/EEE) or similar field and 6+ years’ experience in flip-chip-BGA package design, including high-speed SerDes preferred.

Description:

• Plan, design, and coordinate for civil engineering, geotechnical engineering, infrastructural design works for local projects internally and with contractors/project team
• Ensure all engineering works comply with all relevant Statutory standards, Regulations and Codes of Practices
• Supervise the drafting of drawings related to design

Requirements:

• Degree in Civil and Structural Engineering/Geotechnical Engineering or its equivalent that is recognized by the Professional Engineers Board of Singapore
• Familiar with Eurocodes, local standards and regulations

The Role

The candidate will be part of an innovative team, where he/she will utilise his/her demonstrated skills in blended learning to develop and deliver high-quality student-centred undergraduate and postgraduate programs. The candidate will engage in engineering design research and teaching at all levels, from first-year undergraduate to PhD level, in multiple design courses, either co-teaching, leading a team of colleagues, or being the sole instructor. Courses that have to do with topics like Engineering Design Innovation, Design Thinking, and Design Science (to name just a few) from an Engineering perspective, heavy on research tools and research methods.

Requirements

The candidate must have:

• A PhD in Engineering, with a proven record of teaching and research in engineering design and related topics
• Proven experience in working autonomously and in teams, multi-tasking between teaching and research
• An appetite for improving teaching and learning of engineering design
• A willingness to tackle complex problems in engineering design research, potentially spanning across multiple application domains
• The ability to interact both face-to-face as well as virtually with students, peers, and all relevant stakeholders
• The drive to network and engage with funding agencies and companies, and secure the necessary funding to conduct research and build a well-connected research team

The candidate can have:

• Experience in teaching in other educational environments, like executive education and/or lifelong learning
• Experience in designing and delivering short courses in various design-related topics
• A track record of advising Doctoral, Master, and undergraduate students in engineering design research
• Publications in leading engineering design research journals (e.g., Research in Engineering Design, Journal of Engineering Design, Design Science, Journal of Mechanical Design, Artificial Intelligence for Engineering Design, Analysis and Manufacturing, and similar) and conferences (International Conference on Engineering Design, International Design Engineering Technical Conference, International DESIGN Conference, and similar)

• Masters in Civil and Structural Engineering or its equivalent that is recognized by the Professional Engineers Board of Singapore
• Able to perform steel structural analysis and design, and/or working knowledge in using 3D structural design analysis software will be an advantage
• Familiar with Eurocodes, local standards and regulations
• Team player and able to work independent with minimal supervision

• Perform design for manufacturability in all new projects.
• Provide PCB manufacturing technical advice to customers on their new projects.
• Perform feasibility studies and reviews for all new data received from customers.
• Adhoc duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Degree/Diploma in Electrical & Electronics Engineering in Printed Wiring Board manufacturing environment
• Good communication, report writing and presentation skills
• Good analytical skill with ability to work independently

Duties & Responsibilities

• Responsible to the Senior Engineer, Principal Engineer for the preparation of design as per codes/standards and client's specifications.
• Prepares design proposals, do material take-off for civil and structural work.
• Produce design and detailed engineering calculation, drawings for civil and structural work.
• Preparation and submission of engineering documents for Client and Authority Approval.
• Reporting to the Senior Engineer, Principal Engineer on a weekly basis.
• Implementation of Engineering Procedure, Draughting Standard and Quality Management.
• Conducts site investigation/checks for data acquisition, as-built for design and tender work.
• Coordinates with other engineering disciplines for correct and proper execution of work.
• Liaise with the accredited Professional Engineer (PE) for calculations, drawings to comply with authority requirements.
• Perform any other responsibilities as directed by immediate supervisor.

Qualification & Experience Generally Required

• Bachelor degree in Civil/Structural or equivalent engineering disciplines.
• Min 8 years experiences in FEED, Detailed Engineering, Procurement, Construction Projects in Chemical & Energy, Marine & Offshore, FPSO/FPU industry.
• Sound knowledge on Eurocode, BS, ASCE, ACI, AISC and API Codes.
• Knowledge and Hands-on with STADD Pro, SAP2000, Prokon, Plaxis for Civil and Structural design and analysis.
• Knowledge and Hands-on with AutoCad, TEKLA Structure, Autodesk Revit, Naviswork Manage.
• Knowledge in SACS - Offshore Structural Analysis Software will be an added advantage.
• Knowledge in E3D, SP, CADWORX will be an added advantage.
