• Carry out progress monitoring of young infants/toddlers
• Classroom management and maintaining a pleasant and conducive learning environment
• Setting up learning corners for the young infants/toddlers
• Carrying out routine care duties
• Organizing and participating in centre events
• Ensuring the safety and hygiene of the infants
• Work closely with other teaching staff in the room in carrying out the duties
• Build and maintain close partnerships with colleagues and parents
• Assist in other ad-hoc duties or initiatives where needed

Key Responsibilities:

• To plan and implement the curriculum under the guidance of the Centre Principal to ensure a well-run, purposeful, engaging and child-centered programme responsive to children's needs and aligned to the principles spelt out in the standard ECE Framework.
• Assist Centre Teachers in the daily programme to create a learner - centred environment where children can explore, experiment and interact to learn.
• Be involved in simple action research projects.
• Role-model professionalism in appearance, speech and action to the children in the centre.
• Create a safe learning environment and to provide the best possible care to children under their charge.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Qualification: Undergoing Diploma in Early Childhood Care and Education – Teaching (DECCE-T) or
• Any equivalent
