Key Responsibilities:

1. Curriculum and Program Design:Develop a well-rounded arts enrichment curriculum that covers various genres of art, including drawing, painting, sculpture, mixed media, etc.
   Plan and design engaging lessons that introduce students to different art forms and techniques, catering to their diverse artistic interests and abilities.
2. Lesson Implementation:Execute the planned lessons, ensuring they are interactive, enjoyable, and educational.
   Provide materials and resources that encourage students to explore and experiment with different art genres.
3. Assessment and Feedback:Assess students' progress in understanding and applying different art genres and techniques.
   Provide constructive feedback to encourage growth and confidence in their artistic journey.
4. Classroom Environment:Create a supportive and creative classroom atmosphere that encourages exploration, self-expression, and collaboration.
   Encourage students to express their individuality and thoughts through diverse art forms.
   

Job Requirements:

• Possess a Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Arts or a related field.
• Prior experience working in a classroom setting is preferred
• Must be passionate about engaging with, teaching, and developing children's artistic talents.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• To carry out the professional duties of a teacher as circumstances may require and in accordance with the school's policies under the direction of the school’s Principal.
• To conduct assessment, recording and reporting on the work of students and attending Parents’ Meetings to meet parents and discuss the progress of individual students
• To set appropriate individual student targets in line with the school and departmental targets/policy
• To undertake appropriate training including INSET days at the start of each term
• Promoting and participating in your own continuous professional development:
• To be involved in Co or Extra Curricular Activities and school event days
• To undertake any other ad-hoc duties as assigned

Job Requirements:

• At least a Bachelor’s degree in Education/ Teaching or equivalent, recognized by the CPE/MOE in Singapore
• Higher degree or recognized professional qualification (preferred) Evidence of continued relevant professional development
• PGDE and/or PGCE is preferable. Preferably a Teacher’s Licence (NIE certification)
• More than 5 years of teaching experience in a similar or related environment
• Demonstrate an acute and deep understanding of a primary/ secondary school curriculum
• Teaching or pedagogical skills
• Passion for developing young learners

Responsibilities:

• Assist in preparing and implementing the programmes for children in the class together with the lead teacher in accordance with the policies, guidelines, framework and philosophy of the centre
• To assist main class teacher in managing challenging children using appropriate behavioural strategies.
• To be able to assist in teaching appropriate mealtime behaviour and supervise play times.
• To assist the main class teachers in toileting needs of the children. (ie. Diaper changing,bringing the children to the to toilet)
• To assist in administrative areas such as typing out various reports (e.g. IEP, Progress Report,Educational Report) to support the main teacher.
• To be able to provide input on children’s progress during case conferences or at any other discussion points.
• Assist with planning, share ideas and exchange feedback with the entire team at least once a month.
• Prepare age and developmentally appropriate teaching aids.
• Evaluate and maintain records of children’s development.
• To render basic first aid as and when necessary.
• Responsible for the upkeep of teaching resources, prepare art and craft materials. arrangement, appearance, decorations, and learning environment of the classroom.
• Use positive discipline techniques at all times.
• Maintain and build relationships with children and parents.

Requirements:

•  Certification in Early Childhood Care & Education or Special Needs Education is an advantage
