• Operational Management:
  • Assist the Operation Manager in overseeing daily operations across of Front Office, Housekeeping and Maintenance.
  • Ensure that all hotel services meet or exceed established quality standards and that operational goals are achieved.
  • Monitor and evaluate the performance of departments, providing guidance and support to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
• Guest Relations:
  • Maintain a visible presence in the hotel, interacting with guests to ensure satisfaction and addressing any concerns or issues promptly.
  • Oversee guest feedback collection, analyse trends, and implement improvements based on guest insights and managing reviews on various platforms
• Staff Management:
  • Support the recruitment, training, and development of hotel staff, ensuring that all team members are equipped to deliver high-quality service.
  • Foster a positive work environment that promotes teamwork, employee engagement, and professional growth.
  • Conduct regular inspections of hotel facilities and services to ensure cleanliness, safety, and maintenance standards are upheld.
  • Address any operational challenges or guest complaints, working with relevant teams to resolve issues effectively.
• Reporting & Communication:
  • Prepare and submit operational reports to the Hotel Manager, highlighting key performance indicators, guest feedback, and departmental activities.
  • Facilitate communication between departments to ensure seamless coordination and collaboration.
  • Assist in organising and leading management meetings, staff briefings, and other key hotel functions.

Qualifications:

• Education: A diploma or degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
• Experience:
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in the hotel industry, with at least 2 years in a managerial or supervisory role.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of hotel operations, including Front Office, Housekeeping and Maintenance.
• Skills:
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire teams.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in hotel management software, financial management tools, and MS Office applications.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with guests, staff, and stakeholders.

Working Hours:

Your Role:

The Assistant Manager (Customer Experience) ensures that a high level of excellence is delivered through our communications in a professional and understanding manner. You will be tasked to achieve high customer satisfaction and experience through vital communications with potential and existing customers of our school.

Responsibilities:

• Provide excellent customer experience through key communication with parents, students, and visitors in person, over the phone, and through email.
• Respond promptly to inquiries by providing accurate information about program offerings, schedules, fees, and registration procedures.
• Handle communication with the community in a professional, timely and empathetic manner by responding promptly to inquiries, providing accurate information, and striving to resolve issues to the satisfaction of all parties involved.
• Assist parents with the enrollment process, including completing registration forms, collecting fees, and ensuring all necessary documents are submitted.
• Lead initiatives to handle feedback, concerns, and complaints in a professional and empathetic manner, striving to resolve issues promptly and to the satisfaction of all parties involved.
• Maintain accurate and updated records of student information, attendance, and payment records.
• Create simple but effective communication to improve service excellence.
• Coordinate with other departments, including coaching staff, administration, and facilities management, to ensure smooth operations and address community needs effectively.
• Provide administrative support, such as student profiles, scheduling appointments, preparing reports, and assisting with event coordination and training operations.

Requirements:

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with parents, students, and staff members.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Previous customer service experience, preferably in an educational or sports-related environment or retail service industry preferred.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities to handle multiple inquiries and tasks simultaneously.
• History with supervisory or managerial role with experience leading a team preferred.
• Proficient computer skills, including experience with Google Applications and customer relationship management (CRM) systems. Understanding of new technology and application of AI to improve service standards is preferred.
• Forward thinking and problem-solving mindset with ability to handle challenging situations with professionalism and diplomacy.

Role and Responsibilities

1. Assist operation manager to supervise daily operation and activity for Hotel department

2. Liase with operation manager on planning and execution of tasks/projects

3. communicate HR Department for manpowper planning and if required conduct interview.

4. Assist Operation manager to develop and improve KPI’s

5. Act as a communication conduct between management and staff.

6. Resolve conflicts and mediate disputes between employees.

7. Attend to complaints and ensure customers' satisfaction

8. Any other duties assigned by directors

Requirements

1. Able to work in islandwide locations, and able to go to multiple locations daily.

2. Able to work OT including weekends and public holidays.

3. Atleast 2-3 years’s of relevant experience
