A Research Assistant / Laboratory Technician position is available and the successful candidate will be closely involved in the collaboration project work between hospitals/industries and the laboratory. The duties and responsibilities include the following: -

• Perform tasks and support the team in scientific projects.
• Plan and perform assays such as Elispot, cell staining and flow cytometry.
• Conduct accurate monitoring, documenting and reporting of experimental results and/or research findings.
• Process and store clinical samples, and keep good inventory of samples required for the projects.
• Perform other duties required to support the organization of the laboratory, including but not limited to purchasing, stock-taking, inventory and compliance with safety and ethical regulations.

Job Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Life Sciences, Biological Sciences or equivalent.
• Prior experience in a T cell laboratory or immunology laboratory or/and have using human samples, including handling and processing of clinical samples such as blood and tissue would be advantageous.
• Possess good tissue culture techniques and familiarity with cell isolation techniques would be advantageous.
