Job duties include the preparation of dental instruments and materials for the dentist and ensuring they are properly sterilised. He/She also handles administrative tasks, such as scheduling of appointments and filing dental records.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Assist dental surgeon(s) in all forms of dental treatment,
• Attend to all patients seeking treatments and/or making enquiries at the clinic promptly and courteously,
• Maintain and ensure cleanliness of the clinic and treatment room,
• Maintain dental equipments and instruments in good working condition,
• Discharge patients by dispensing medication, collecting payment and scheduling of next appointment,
• Develop X-ray/OPG for assessment of treatment,
• Send, receive and monitor cases that are sent to the dental laboratory,
• Ensure high standard of infection control.
