A day in the life
You will be responsible for setting the team’s project and program management direction and you will be accountable for the performance of the regional PMO team, supporting the Security and Loss Prevention team in APAC. You will use your knowledge and expertise to coach and manage your team to remove blockers. Your team manages projects and programs that have a strong emphasis on standardising, optimising, and automating processes; however, you will take ownership when problems become highly complex and will own the technical projects workstream. You manage the planning of recruiting, where relevant, as well as frugal deployment of resources.

About the team
Working in partnership with our stakeholders, Security and Loss Prevention secures the Amazon supply chain end-to-end and promotes security during business conversations. The PMO and Strategy team is a support function to Security and Loss Prevention and leads with project management standards, are responsible for driving projects, and manage programs and business support mechanisms that support organizational growth and structure. The team manages projects that ensure operational standardization in the field and drives projects and programs that optimize and automate processes, enabling Security and Loss Prevention to work smarter and more agile.

Basic qualifications

• 5+ years of working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams experience
• 5+ years of team management experience
• 5+ years of cross functional project delivery experience
• 5+ years of program or project management experience
• Experience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvements

Key Duties and Responsibilities

As the Assistant Manager, Finance, you will be supporting the AP managed services function for Southeast Asia.

• Responsible for the accounts payable spectrum including purchase order approval for operating expenses, monitoring of the processing and settlement of vendor invoices, payment & reconciliation of vendor SOA.
• Prepare balance sheet closing entries and adjustments, including but not limited to recurring accruals, open PO review, accruals and prepayments.
• Prepare and review management accounts & AP schedules.
• Prepare monthly and quarterly reporting with analysis to ensure accurate closing.
• Support annual budgeting process and internal & external audits.
• Prepare AP Dashboards.
• Any other tasks as assigned.

Requirements

• Degree in Accounting, with at least 5-7 years of relevant working experience
• Experience with AP shared services functions and/or SAP S/4 Hana will be an advantage.

Job Purpose

The Job

• Contact Centre Operations – Managing stakeholder’s/ business partners, customer queries and concerns and updates via calls and emails, handling escalations and ensuring all service deliverables are handles professionally, timely and aligned with Great Insurance operational requirements.
• Assist and support HOD/ Team Lead, Manager in overall operation which may include execution and support of urgent/ special taskforce, initiatives, escalation and investigation, Service Level monitoring, assignment of daily tasks/ scope and rostering. Assist on any other adhoc duties from time-to-time.
• AML creation/ initial setup in system
