1. The Assistant Manager shall play a key role in the conceptual development of the construction project and oversee the scheduling and coordination of sub-contractors across various trades

Essential Duties/ Responsibilities:

Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced and motivated Salon Manager to lead and oversee the daily operations of our herbal treatment store. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, a passion for customer service, and the ability to manage both staff and operations effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Team Leadership & Supervision:Lead, motivate, and manage a team of salon staff to deliver exceptional customer service and meet performance goals.
   Conduct regular training and mentoring sessions to ensure staff are knowledgeable about herbal treatments and products.
   Schedule and delegate tasks to staff, ensuring optimal workflow and productivity.
   
2. Customer Experience Management:Monitor and enhance customer satisfaction by ensuring a consistent, high-quality salon experience.
   Handle customer inquiries, feedback, and complaints professionally to maintain strong customer relationships.
   
3. Operational Oversight:Oversee the daily operations of the salon, including opening and closing procedures, inventory management, and equipment maintenance.
   Ensure all treatments and services are delivered in compliance with company standards and hygiene regulations.
   Monitor and manage stock levels of herbal products and salon supplies, placing orders as needed to prevent shortages.
   
4. Sales & Revenue Management:Drive salon sales by promoting herbal products and upselling services to customers.
   Track and analyze sales performance, preparing reports and identifying areas for improvement.
   
5. Administrative Duties:Manage staff schedules, attendance, and performance reviews.
   Prepare and submit operational reports to the Outlet Manager.
   Implement and monitor adherence to company policies and procedures.
   

Requirements:

Marketing Manager Roles & Responsibilities:

The WSH Manager is responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining a comprehensive workplace safety and health management system in compliance with the Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) Act, regulations, and industry standards. The primary goal of the WSH Manager is to ensure a safe and healthy working environment for all employees, contractors, and visitors on-site by identifying potential risks, implementing preventive measures, and promoting safety awareness across the organization.

1. Develop, implement, and review the company’s Safety Management System (SMS) to ensure compliance with local regulations, industry best practices, and organizational needs.
2. Maintain and ensure the continuous improvement of the SMS, including emergency response procedures, risk assessments, and hazard control measures.
3. Conduct audits to assess the effectiveness of the SMS and identify areas for improvement.
4. Ensure that all activities at the workplace comply with the Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) Act and other relevant regulations and standards.
5. Stay updated with changes in safety legislation and advise senior management on necessary changes to policies or procedures.
6. Prepare and submit safety reports and documentation required by regulatory authorities such as the Ministry of Manpower (MOM).
7. Liaise with government agencies and third-party safety auditors during inspections and audits.
8. Conduct risk assessments to identify potential hazards in the workplace, including those related to machinery, work processes, chemicals, and ergonomics.
9. Develop and implement safety control measures to mitigate identified risks and prevent accidents or injuries.
10. Oversee the safe use of equipment and machinery by establishing protocols and ensuring maintenance standards are met.
11. Design and implement safety training programs for employees, contractors, and visitors to ensure they understand workplace hazards and follow safe practices.
12. Ensure that employees are adequately trained on the safe use of equipment, PPE (Personal Protective Equipment), emergency response procedures, and any other site-specific safety protocols.
13. Coordinate and lead regular safety briefings, tool-box talks, and induction programs for new hires and contractors.
14. Lead investigations into workplace accidents, incidents, and near-misses to identify root causes and recommend corrective actions.
15. Prepare detailed accident investigation reports and submit them to management and regulatory authorities.
16. Implement corrective actions and follow up to ensure that identified hazards are eliminated and safety improvements are sustained.
17. Conduct regular safety inspections and audits of the workplace to ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
18. Monitor safety performance and implement necessary adjustments based on findings from safety inspections and audits.
19. Develop and maintain emergency response procedures, including fire drills, first aid protocols, and evacuation plans.
20. Act as the point of contact for any emergency situations, providing guidance and support during the response.
21. Track key safety performance indicators (KPIs), including accident rates, near misses, and safety audit findings, and report results to senior management.
22. Analyze safety trends and propose strategies for reducing accidents, improving safety performance, and fostering a safety culture across the organization.
23. Prepare safety reports for senior management meetings, detailing current safety performance, challenges, and actions taken.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety and Health, Engineering (preferably Civil or Environmental), Construction Management, or a related field.
• WSH Officer Certification
• Min 5 years of experience in a safety-related role in the construction industry
• Proven track record of managing and improving workplace safety programs.
• Experience with site inspections, hazard identification, risk assessments, and accident investigations.
• Familiarity with construction-specific safety practices
• Knowledge of Workplace Safety and Health Act, Construction Safety Regulations, and relevant codes of practice.
• Ability to work in cross-functional teams, collaborating with project managers, engineers, and contractors.
