We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented CrewingAssistant to join our company in Singapore. This role offers a unique opportunity to specialize in crew payroll management for our fleet (200+ crew members), and plays a crucial role in ensuring our sea crew receive accurate and timely salary.

Responsibilities:

Crew PayrollManagement:

• Process monthly payroll for seafarers, ensuring accuracy and timely payments.
• Maintain accurate records of crew salaries, benefits, and deductions.
• Handle tax calculations (IR8A & IR21) and other contributions (if any) according to relevant regulations.
• Prepare payroll reports and reconciliations.
• Address crew inquiries regarding payroll matters.
• Check daily attendance for the payroll process.

Qualifications:

• Diploma in Business Administration, Human Resource, or Maritime Studies, or a related field.
• Prior experience in sea crew’s payroll processing and/or payroll in HR is highly advantageous. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
• Strong analytical and numerical skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• The ideal candidate should be proactive, and maintain a positive attitude, with a willingness to learn.
• Able to take stress and meet deadline to close payroll timely.

Job Description

Requirements

• You must be well versed technically and practically with the Electrical installations and basic design as per Singapore Standards.
• You should adapt with RNC’s ISO systems (Quality and Safety) and be innovative to suggest improvisation in the system.
• Knowledgeable in Lighting, Small power, Earthing, Lightning Protection and ELV systems.
• Good Organisation skills, planning and Prioritizing works.
• Go-Getter mindset and good in communication.
• Responsible for actions of the Team on site.
• Minimum 3 year experience as a project manager.
• Proficient in MS Office (e.g Excel & Power Point).
• Possess good writing, communication and interpersonal skills.
• Working in a “Live” process plant is an added advantage.
• Knowledge on Instrumentation works shall be an added advantage.
• Class 3 Licence is an added advantage.

The Procurement Assistant plays a crucial role in ensuring efficient and cost-effective procurement of equipment, services, and supplies for our fleet. This position involves close collaboration with the Purchasing Manager, vessel crew, and suppliers to meet the operational needs of our ships while adhering to company guidelines and industry regulations.

What you will be doing:

• Assist the Procurement Manager in daily procurement activities, handling ad-hoc tasks as required.
• Develop comprehensive plans for acquiring equipment, services, and supplies, considering factors such as cost, quality, availability, and lead times.
• Review existing administrative procedures and systems, identifying opportunities to streamline and improve efficiency in procurement processes.
• Ensure all procurement activities comply with the organization's purchasing guidelines, procedures, and relevant industry regulations.
• Track costs and expenses related to procurement, contributing to the preparation of accurate budgets.
• Arrange timely and cost-effective shipments of stores and spares via air, sea, and road freight to both local and international ports.
• Conduct occasional inventory and storeroom inspections on ships to understand crew needs, maintain positive relationships, and address procurement-related issues.

What we are looking for:

• Minimally a Diploma in supply chain management, logistics, business administration, or a related field.
• Proven experience in procurement, ideally within the maritime or shipping industry.
• Understanding of shipping operations, procurement processes, and relevant regulations.
• Strong analytical, negotiation, communication, and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite and procurement software.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, handling multiple tasks and tight deadlines.
