We are Wagyu Yakiniku Gyubei from japan! This is our first establisment in singapore and we welcome you to join our team. Our company has 22 Yakiniku restaurants in Japan today. We have different types of F&B restaurants, donut shops, and beauty salons in Japan. Our company was founded in 1970 and engaged in many different types of business, and we started the Yakiniku business in 1999.

Job Roles Available : X2 Service Assistant Opening

Role and Responsibilities

1. Prepare tables for service (e.g. clear used cutlery and crockery, wipe down tables, lay out fresh linens and cutlery, refill condiments.)
2. Conduct Opening and Closing shift duties (eg top up cutleries , sweep mop the floor before and end of shift to prevent pests)
3. Greet walk-in customers and escorting them to their tables.
4. Respond to customer enquiries and take reservations over telephone.
5. Present menu to customers at their table and provide menu information (e.g. ingredients, dietary allergens, menu recommendations).
6. Serve food/drinks from kitchen to customers.
7. Ensure all food orders and tables are billed accordingly
8. Ensure compliance with regulations (e.g. SFA licensing conditions), as well as establishment’s own service protocols and standards (if any).
9. Any ad-hoc duties as designated by the store manager
10. Work permit holders welcomed to apply

Qualifications

1. Previous experience in a food service role is a plus
2. Knowledge of health and safety regulations
3. Candidate must possess a valid SFA recognised Basic Food Hygiene Certification - Level 1
4. Ability to work in a team
5. Strong communication and multitasking skills

- Perform general administrative duties

- Handling incoming calls

- Timely invoice billing and follow up on outstanding invoices

- Maintain proper filling system

- Manage and maintain inventory of pantry and office supplies, placing orders as needed

- Perform any other ad-hoc tasks as per assigned

Responsibilities:

You are responsible for the below warehouse operations.

• Able to operate via handheld device.
• Compile basic data reporting.
• Verify & ensure the accuracy of all incoming & outgoing shipments.
• Ensure accurate input of in/out stock in the company’s ERP system
• Check & inform Operations Executive all returned items quality condition as per checklist.
• Ensure all stock items are properly put back & well labelled to the storage area according to the planned floor plan.
• Responsible for day-to-day picking, packing & barcoding before delivery according to the plan delivery schedule.
• Ensure assigned warehouse areas are clean, neat & organized.
• Responsible for the security of inventory in the assigned warehouse area.
• Responsible for warehouse stock discrepancies / missing in the assigned warehouse area.
• Any other tasks assigned by management.

Requirements:

• Preferably with 1 year of related working experience in the warehouse.
• Computer literate & knowledge of computerized inventory control systems is an added advantage
• 5-day work week
• Able to handle physical work to carry loads up to 20 kg.
• Responsible, possess initiative, independent and resourceful.
