Assistant Site Engineer The Role:

We are looking for an enthusiastic individual to join our engineering team. This role would suit either a recent graduate or a student looking for a sandwich placement. This would provide a fantastic opportunity to gain valuable practical engineering experience in a sitebased environment. The role would greatly complement your academic studies with exciting and interesting project experience. Main duties and responsibilities

Performing the Site Technician duties on site. Setting out of civil engineering and building works on various sites within the Company operating area Understand and interpret drawings and specifications Resolve any unexpected technical difficulties and other problems that may arise at any time Communicating and liaising effectively with colleagues Thinking both creatively and logically to resolve design and development problems Health, Safety and Environment

Quality Control

Ensure quality control requirements are met and recorded in accordance with specification Assist with compilation of as built drawings Interacts with stakeholders around specific work efforts and deliverables

Salary range $3000 - $4500

Responsibilities

• Must be able to handle Full Set of Accounts independently for 3 companies
• Handle accounts receivable and issue invoices timely
• Perform day-to-day accounting activities, maintain records & data entry
• Perform month-end closing
• Perform monthly bank reconciliations and monthly/annual stock count
• Compile and analyse financial information for Manager review
• GST preparation & submission
• Familiar with the use of AutoCount system
• Any ad-hoc duties as assigned from time to time

Job Requirements

• Diploma or degree in Finance or Accounting
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant working experience with full sets of accounts
• Good knowledge of accounting concepts and double entries
• High degree of accuracy and attention to details with an analytical acumen
• Independent, well organized, have an open mindset and a strong team player
