They are currently seeking an Assistant Manager to uphold their high standards and improve customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily operations to ensure compliance with established standards, performing regular audits and coordinating maintenance with vendors.
• Mentor and support team members, facilitating effective communication of daily tasks and resolving any challenges that arise.
• Collaborate with HR to oversee staff performance, training, and development programs.
• Engage with external service providers, negotiate contracts, and ensure adherence to procedures and budget constraints.
• Assist with month-end billing, track collections, and manage petty cash and inventory.
• Ensure a smooth experience for clients during move-ins and move-outs by promptly addressing their requests and concerns.
• Support sales initiatives in the absence of the Centre Manager and coordinate client events and networking activities.
• Maintain compliance with audit standards while striving for high levels of customer satisfaction.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Tourism Management, Business Management, or a related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in the Hospitality industry, focusing on customer relations and operations is a MUST.
• Proficient in MS Office, with strong customer service and communication skills, along with the ability to upsell and maintain operational standards.
• Service-oriented, detail-oriented, organized, and dedicated, with a strong sense of urgency.
• As you will be dealing with international candidates a high level of Engllish is Required to uphold service standards.

Job Description

1. Manage daily leave & attendance via time software, including leave type entry, entitlement, application, certificate collection & approval and daily employee’s attendance.

2. Processing monthly payroll for designated job sites including processing new hires, terminations, transfers, and promotions.

3. Reviewing and verifying source documents as well as investigating and correcting payroll discrepancies.

4. Ensure timely & accurate submissions in all government and related claims, e.g., levy Wavier, Childcare Leave, Maternity/Paternity Leave, NS makeup claims, income tax (IR21) matters etc.

5. Provide advice, information and support to department managers and employees on HR policy and Leave Balance, etc.

6. Maintain & regularly update the master database (personal file, personal database) of each employee.

7. Administer training related matters including coordination or enrolment of internal & external courses, update & maintain training record etc.

8. Prepare employment contract, confirmation letter, increment, promotion and HR-related letters

9. Assist in performance review process & administer performance appraisals

10. Work closely with operations to manage recruitment exercises, ranging from liaising with candidates, interview arrangement, on-boarding for new hires. orientation, guidance on policies

Requirements

• GCE 'A' level, diploma or higher in relevant discipline.
• 1-2 years of relevant experience
• Meticulous, pro-active, multi-tasking and able to work under tight timelines.

Job description

1. Plan the Project schedule and ensure that the work schedules are executed as planned.

2. Review and check the T4e/Project reports and ensure the information is accurate for the purposes of quotation submission or invoicing for completed works or following up action if required rectification works.

3. Assign tasks to the team when there are breakdown calls from the clients.

4. Monitor and follow up on procurement of parts.

5. Ensure the sub-con workers follow proper work processes.

6. Perform price negotiation to meet the budget.

7. Ensure the spare parts / equipment are always maintaining at the minimum stock inventory level.

8. Provide supervision to the Engineers and Technicians for day-to-day work activities.

10. Forecast future manpower needs to ensure there is sufficient manpower to perform the assigned tasks.
