Senior Officer, Payments Services in Trading and Payments Services (“TPS”), Singapore
This position reports to the Team Lead of Trading and Payment Services, Singapore.
The Trading & Payments Services (TPS), Singapore, consist of two teams, (1) Trading Services and (2) Payment Services teams. The incumbent is part of the Payment Services team that provides comprehensive operations support in relation to cash management including electronic banking, remittance, clearing and inward/outward payments.
The incumbent will support different process areas with main responsibility within Payment’s processing and supporting client servicing.
TPS is responsible for the timely processing of transactions instructions, ensuring integrity and correctness in accordance with the bank’s standards and control procedures.
Main Responsibilities
- Client servicing – handling client’s enquiries and provide cash management solutions to clients.
- Ensure accurate and timely execution of clients’ domestic and international remittances
- Handling of charge / fee payment and collections
- Manage and reconcile nostro breaks
- Handling eGIRO and G3 processing
- Familiar with all procedures and controls in place for cash management products including electronic banking, remittance and clearing.
- Ensure and constantly increasing end to end competencies related to Payment Services team’s processes and responsibilities.
- Actively participate in initiatives within the Payment Services team’s area including user acceptance testing or industry-wide testing initiatives.
Requirements
- At least 3 - 5 years of equivalent experience.
- Strong communications and excellent communication skills to provide customer support and interactions with colleagues and stakeholders
- Comprehensive knowledge of cash management solutions including cross-border payments, clearing, G3, e-GIRO, electronic payments will be an added advantage.
- Ability to plan and organise work to achieve set objectives and meet timelines.
- Good understanding and familiarity of SWIFT message types used in payments processing
- Good computer knowledge of standard applications MS Word, Excel, Access
- Good working attitude and ability to multi-task.
