Job Description:

• Team member in audit engagements, which include planning, executing risk based financial and operational audits and completing audit statutory financial audits.
• Obtain a thorough understanding of Singapore Standards on Auditing (SSA) and common audit procedures and techniques.
• Develop a good understanding of Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (SFRS) and financial statements presentation and generally accepted accounting principles and others reporting requirements, where applicable.
• Research and analyse financial statements and audit related issues.
• Manage client's expectation and provide timely updates and or feasible solutions on their queries.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in accountancy or related field.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office software programs such as MS Word, MS Excel and Office 365.
• Professionalism, dependability, integrity and trustworthiness combined with a cooperative attitude.
• Highly motivated self-starter with ability to multi-task and complete assignments within time constraints and deadlines.

Our client is an estate management services company. They are looking for a Temp Internal Audit Assistant to assist their team for the next phase of their business. They are located in the Central - easily accessible.

Responsibilities:

• Help with collecting and reviewing data for audit planning.
• Assist in gathering proof for audits to assess how well the company's processes and controls work and ensure they follow rules.
• Use data analysis tools like Excel, ACL, and Tableau in audits.
• Keep clear and organized records of audit work and findings.
• Contribute to identifying issues and making suggestions for process improvements.
• Support the team leader in finalizing audit findings and reports, and gather management responses and action plans.
• Monitor progress in addressing audit issues and control problems.
• Assist in creating the annual audit plan and prepare reports and materials for management and the audit committee.

Requirements:

• Background in accounting, business, or related studies (No experience required for applicants).
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel.

Reporting to the Security Manager, you will be part of an operations team ensuring the safety of both the hotel's premises and guests.

Key responsibilites

• Planning and management - assist with manpower roster and deployment.
• Operations - ensure the safety, security and fire evacuation operation from the hotel.
• Monitor team deployment to adhere to security's SOP
• Train and guide team members on security matters and emergencies.
• Enforce disciplinary actions and report on incidents of security lapses
• Perform investigation and report on all security cases/incidents

Requirements

• 2-3 years in a similar role, preferably in the hospitality industry
• Background in law enforcement agencies would be an added advantage.
• Must be proficient in PC applications.
• Good verbal and written communication skills to interact with guests and employees.
• Prior experience in safety protocols inclduing fire and evacuation
• Adept with safety operations including carpark/cctv/fire alarm/lift system
• Familiar with card access system
• Conduct investigations, in accordance with law enforcement procedures
