RESPONSIBILITIES

• Collaborate with multiple project teams of software R&D, quality engineers, and partners to deliver quality upfront, end-to-end quality validation in the Cloud and App solution releases for printers that are an embedded SW device.
• Manages and influences the software solution development process and schedule confidence through early engagement to embed quality requirements.
• Defines Validation Technical Strategy and delivery (Specify test plan - test selection, test setup, test sequencing & priority, pass/fail criteria (expected test outcome/specifications), conducts validation requirements Analysis.
• Ensure that the validation scope and methodologies are defined, optimized, set up, and executed to the quality delivery plan.
• Provides domain-specific expertise to the team members and partners to drive for issue root cause analysis and resolution.
• Collaborates and communicates with management, internal, and outsourced development partners regarding test status, project progress, and issue resolution, mitigation plans for development, and released printer solutions

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years of experience with Printing, Firmware, Apps & Cloud based solutions (development/ customer focussed testing).
• Experience with Agile software development models, overall architecture, and software design for products and solutions will be considered as an added advantage.
• Knowledge of software end-to-end validation will be an added advantage.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to influence business decisions & partners.
• Has good communication skills. Be able to present to sponsors and management on proposals, negotiate options, and drive for alignment.
• Experience in cross-functional leadership.
• Critical thinking and conflict management skills.

Responsibilities:

• The successful candidate for this role is expected to have a strong background in Regression and end-to-end Testing, with a deep understanding of JSON, API, and SQL. Familiarity with financial instruments and entities will be considered a plus.

• This role requires an individual who is a fast learner, able to quickly comprehend business requirements and translate them into effective test cases using our in-house automated regression tools.

Skillset (Must have)

• Proven experience as a Software Test Engineer or similar role.

• Proficient in JSON, API, and SQL.

• Experience in regression and end-to-end testing.

• Strong problem solving skill and attention to detail.

• Excellent communication skill.

• Ability to learn quickly and work in a fast-paced environment.

• Experience in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases.

• Willingness to support BAU operations as needed.

Skillset (Good to have)

• Familiarity with financial instruments and entities.

• Experience with performance testing.

• Knowledge of Agile/Scrum development principles.

• Experience with automated testing tools.

• Understanding of coding and scripting for automation purposes.

• Knowledge of continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) processes.

• Familiarity with version control systems like Git.

• Knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.

• Should have support and maintenance experience preferably for banking projects
• Should have experience in Java, Springboot, Angular, UNIX, database
• Familiar with Frontend technologies and able to troubleshoot eg: JQuery,Javascript, Angular etc.
• Solid experience in Level 2 production support, incident management, certificate/keys renewals,root cause analysis, performance tuning and bug fixing
• Experience in handling & troubleshooting applications in Java stack applications On Prem/AWS environments
• Experience in Incident Management System, JIRA
• Good experience in PL/SQL, or Maria DB or Oracle and WebSphere/Weblogic/JBoss App Server
• Able to provide operational support during releases/patches/upgrades etc.
• Should possess good oral and written communication skills and willingness to learn and adapt to the dynamic environment
• Able to work under pressure and in a fast pace environment, passionate, enthusiastic and self-motivated.
