Job Description
1. Deploys Engineering decision-making to troubleshoot and resolve mechanical equipment breakdowns
2. Identify and address potential issues before they escalate to prevent unplanned downtime.
3. Achieving 0 LTIF target through ensuring safety procedures are followed through SOP, TRA, employees wearing full PPE during work, developing safety procedures
4. To support the section in terms of external resources/vendor management
5. To drive safety, cost, energy and reliability improvement projects in MSP through application of Mechanical integrity and quality assurance
6. Recommend and implement modifications or upgrades to enhance machinery reliability.
7. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including repairs, replacements, and inspections.
8. Perform root cause analysis and work towards resolutions
9. Oversee all required engineering qualification tests on project; ensure compliance with all outside parties involved
10. Participate in test runs and field installations
11. Analysing and interpreting data
12. Stay updated on industry trends, new technologies, and best practices in mechanical maintenance.
13. Provide training to maintenance technicians and operators on equipment usage and maintenance procedures
Job Requirements
1. Proven experience of supervising and managing mechanical site activities for large scale manufacturing project from inception to completion.
2. Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, and rotating equipment.
3. Possess strong leadership.
4. Possess strong orientation towards results.
5. Possess good teamwork capabilities
6. Possess good project and time management.
7. Ability to work to an ethical code of conduct
