Applicants should have experience at least 2 years’ experience in project / event management. Ideally you should have experience in handling every aspect of event planning for professional conferences especially in areas of registration management, abstract handling, delegate marketing, sponsorship acquisition / management, logistics and general administration.
Job Responsibilities
· Execute operation workflow for conferences and events, including registration process, logistics, faculty management, sponsorships etc to ensure excellent delegates’ experience
· Work closely with vendors and suppliers prior and during the events to ensure smooth execution of events
· supports development of the event programmes
· assists in the planning and execution of the project plans
· collaborating with key stakeholders (clients, speakers, sponsors, suppliers)
· client management
· sourcing and booking venues
· managing event logistics
· managing budgets and invoicing
· organising accreditation
· preparation and presentation of post-event reports
Professional Requirements
· Bachelor’s degree preferred (a plus if it is in related fields such as communications, marketing, media, advertising or business)
· Ideally, candidates will have prior experience working in an events project team environment
