You manage the projects with a (large) multidisciplinary team of highly skilled, mainly technical experts in architecture, design and manufacturing. That’s why we expect you to have a solid technical background, with experience in product development projects, as well as professional project management skills. You are responsible for:

• The delivery of innovative mechatronic systems from initiation and concept & development until manufacturing and customer acceptance
• Project set up, organization and Governance
• Leading the project team, in close cooperation with a System Architect
• Monitoring and control project progress, take action and escalate when needed
• Managing stakeholders: external customers and suppliers as well as internal stakeholders at various managerial levels and functional domain (T&D, business, manufacturing and others)
• Applying the project management and development processes of the organization
• Contribute to the continuous development of the project management competency of the department

Requirements:

• Professional project management skills, preferably certified (PMI, PRINCE2, IPMA)
• A degree in Mechatronics, Mechanics, Electronics, Physics or related
• At least 5 to 10 years’ experience as a project leader in high-end product development projects, leading multidisciplinary team(s)
• You have knowledge of Design for Excellence
• You are a team builder and able to inspire, motivate and convince people
• You are a pro-active, analytical, creative person with a “can do” mentality
• Good communication skills verbal and written

Responsibilities:

1. Work on space configurations, concept development, construction detailing & perspective drawings
2. Generate computerized 3d perspective visuals & renderings, presentation drawings & technical drawings
3. Demonstrate a good knowledge of architectural production standards, detailing, building materials, building codes and construction
4. Source for sample material, preparation of material & mood boards
5. Perform occasional site measurements
6. Prepare detailed shop drawings/as-built for submission and interior fit-out works/construction
7. Ensure proper indexing, filing, storage and distribution of drawings
8. Manage multiple projects concurrently and accurately in a timely manner

Requirements:

1. Preferably 3-4 years relevant experience
2. Minimum 2 years of more of relevant experience as an Interior Designer, with a focus on Commercial interior design
3. Familiar with AutoCAD, Photoshop or Illustrator, SketchUp
4. Necessary skills includes expert knowledge in interior and architecture detailing and extensive knowledge of 3D software, eg V-Ray,3D Max/3D viz.
5. Tender and construction documentation skills are essential
6. Performance orientated team player with consistent enthusiasm and commitment to deliver result
7. Proven design creative, strong design documentation and knowledge in design economic , material and finishes
8. Able to handle projects independently

Operations & Maintenance

· Drive a strong operations team to secure the efficiency, adherence, continuity, compliance, and follow up on processes

· Lead the team in day-to-day operation to achieve operational goals

· Manage shift resources (manpower, machine, and materials) to meet production needs

· Manage employee relations and escalate issues when appropriate (Decision Making)

· Drive departmental plans to ensure compliance with the organizational Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) policies

· Review contractor and vendor compliance with the organization’s WSH standards and practices

· Ensure proper closure of WSH accident and incident investigations and their notification to relevant authorities

· Ensure implementation of sustainable engineering procedures and guidelines

· Acquire and allocate resources to support business operations

· Develop risk management plans and risk controls in alignment with the organization’s risk management framework

· Analyse viability of proposed continuous improvement initiatives and drive change management

· Ensure discipline, safety, and procedural compliance by all team members

· Develop maintenance plans and schedules for inspection, testing, repair, and predictive maintenance of equipment and systems

Projects

· Act as the single contact point of project management of internal operational, strategic, and transformation projects

· Manage the delivery of internal project outcomes through its full lifecycle, ensuring the project is on track with respect to key measurement matrices such as cost, quality, and timelines

· Work in collaboration across teams/business units and external vendors

· Prepare comprehensive and high-quality presentation slides and report to the management

· Prepare regular progress status reports for program committees with insights and improvement recommendations where necessary.

· Review standard processes, identify gaps for improvements, and opportunities for change
