Job – Objective / Position Description:
As a washer your responsibilities are to ensure that guests have clean dishes and utensils, and kitchen has clean equipment for food preparation
Responsibilities (Key Result Areas & Activities)
· Responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards for tableware and cooking utensils using both machine and manual cleaning methods
· Ensure the dishwashing area is maintained as a clean, safe, and sanitary facility
· Replenish equipment in the correct areas after washing and drying
· Clean up any spills to ensure kitchen floor remain dry
· Notify the Manager if the dishwash machine or rinse cycle falls below safety standard temperatures
· Contribute to quality improvement teams aimed at increasing efficiency, reducing wastage, and streamlining stewarding processes
· Adhere to the company’s standard operating procedures
· Perform any other appropriate duties and responsibilities as assigned
