Overall Job Objectives

RESPONSIBILITIES

Officer contributes actively to the programme needs of Special Student Care Centre under the umbrella of Community-Based Support Services (CSS).

CSS is the dynamic and nimble service delivery arm in MINDS that response to emerging needs of PWIDs and Caregivers in the community. Examples of services include Me Too! Club, Homebased Care Services, Caregivers Support Services, Special Student Care Centres and Appropriate Adult Services to enhance integration and community living of caregivers and PWIDs in the community.

The Group is driving an exciting rejuvenation plan at Mandai Wildlife Reserve, adjacent to Singapore’s Central Catchment Nature Reserve, that will integrate five wildlife parks with distinctive nature-based experiences, green public spaces and an eco-friendly resort.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

· Ensure day-to-day operations are carried out smoothly, including daily resource management, and maintain high level of guest service standards in accordance to protocol.

· Identify, propose and execute proposals on areas of improvement to create and enhance guest experience within the park.

· Resolve feedback, issues and concerns raised by guests.

· Motivate and guide part-time staff in delivering guest experiences.

· Assist to conduct training of part-time staff in consultation with section lead.

· Assist in maintenance and enforcement of park safety matters and procedures.

· Assist in wildlife-human management efforts:

- Update and maintain records of sightings and movements of wildlife.

- Conduct and maintain behavioural enrichments of wildlife through positive reinforcement trainings.

- Educate guests on wildlife campaigns in the parks.

· Other relevant duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

• Minimum 1-3 year of relevant experience in hospitality or tourism industry
• Prior customer service experience will be an advantage
• Excellent communications skills
• Confident, energetic and outgoing personality
• Able to work on weekends and public holidays

• Maintains and upkeeps the company’s safety management system.
• Leads, conducts, and reviews RA & SWP.
• Submits and maintains projects’ safety documentation.

• Conducts EHS inspections.

Keeps record of worksite inspection to identify unsafe conditions or unsafe work practice, and any foreseeable risk arising from work processes including operation of plants, machineries, equipment and tools in accordance with company’s established WSHSMS, RA, SWP, FPP, LP etc

• Evaluates and compares EHS performance of company’s work teams.
• Investigates any accident, dangerous occurrence or occupational disease that occurred within the worksite. And implements reasonably practicable measures to address the investigation findings.
• Keeps record of effectiveness of such implemented reasonably practicable measures.
• Advises Company’s management on action plan on all safety matters.
• Builds rapport with client’s EHS in-charge.
• Collates and presents to management updated EHS and legal compliance requirements on a half yearly basis.

Responsible for the follow-up & execution of all HR related processes e.g. hiring, onboarding, confirmation, resignations, transfers, staff requests etc.

Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract top talent.

Conduct initial screenings and interviews to shortlist qualified candidates.

Manage both pantry and office supplies

Requirements:

* Diploma or Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.

* At least 2 years of experience in HR administration or shared services.

* A solid grasp of Singapore employment laws and experience with work pass processes.

* Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
