• Supporting BMO APAC and BMO Singapore team in the management of financial / operational / compliance / regulatory risks

o Implementing and maintaining the first level permanent control framework

o Performing regular and ad-hoc controls, participating in the implementation of corrective measures in the event of anomalies

o Contributing to the local risk management and governance

• Supporting BMO APAC in the monitoring of the performance of the Product Lines and Client Franchise, contributing to ad-hoc local and regional strategic initiatives.

Profile required

Academic Background and Certifications, Experience:

• Hold a relevant bachelor’s or master’s degree in finance, Economics, Business or similar
• Understanding of banking products and financial industry
• Previous working/internship experience in the financial field is preferred
• Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
• Clear and effective oral and writing communication skills
• A team player that is self-driven, responsive, possesses a positive attitude, resourceful and with the ability to work independently

The role would involve:

• Support Senior Business Managers on specific business initiatives such as big trades, New Product Commitee (NPC), New offerings (electronic venue, new CCY,), etc.
• Conduct ad-hoc requests, analysis, and studies to help support the business.
• Collaborate with various support functions (Risk, Compliance, Legal, Operations) on shared topics.
• Prepare Dashboards for monitoring of relevant Key Performance Indicator (KPI)
• Act as lead on certain projects or deliveries
• Prepare and update presentations for Fixed Income & Currencies (FIC) Management

Profile required

• Ensures that all unsecured and secured applications are processed with accuracy in accordance to the guidelines set by the bank, and within stipulated SLAs.

• Process and verify authentication checks &/or data entries
• Perform and verify accurate income computation
• Ensure accurate input/output to enable good customer service delivery
• Documentation of procedures to ensure compliance with group policies in procedures.
• Conduct internal reviews / tests to ensure compliance Assist with data analysis, report findings, recommend corrective actions and preventive actions for review.
• Handle administrative duties that include but are not limited to filing, printing, scanning, archiving
