PRIMARY OBJECTIVES

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• To sell, register and assign rooms to incoming guests, ensuring that all details are filled up correctly on registration card.
• To issue program room keycards and validate duplicate room keycards to guests.
• To attend to all requests and requirements from guests promptly and handle complaints tactfully.
• To assist walk-in guests and in-house guests with alternative accommodation in the event of a full house situation.

• To balance cash float, credit card transactions and other transactions at end of each shift.
• To check all guests bills before presentation to guest upon guest check out.
• To collect or charge all monies due to the hotel to the respective travel agents or companies.
• To perform cashiering and maintain a complete record of guests’ account.
• To declare all cash shortages or excess to Finance Department.
• To file documents and relevant of reports in proper file.
• To co-ordinate with Sales Department, Housekeeping Department, any other department and Front Office staff to ensure hotel’s objective to provide the most efficient services to guests is achieved.

Requirement:

• Finalizes food cover report and photocopies various documentation for food and beverage control and the Finance Department
• Controls dockets used in all outlets, maintaining correct sequence used at all times, accounting for dockets and making sure cancelled dockets are recorded accordingly
• Controls all food and beverage sales by:
• Correct recording of guest checks on a timely basis
• Performs spot checks on outlet checks used
• Having all voided checks, corrections and unsettled checks approved by the Restaurant Supervisor or Manager
• Monitors the buffet controls, especially over cash settled checks to prevent reuse ensuring all revenue is recorded

• Reconciles revenues on a daily basis via back up page

· At least 5 years of banking experience as either banker, investment consultant or product specialist and has an established network of individual HNW clientele (AI clients)

· Track record in asset development, asset growth and revenue generation

· Strong product knowledge in wealth management and able to effectively advise clients on investment portfolio

· Has high standards of professional integrity

· Understand clients’ background and drive the Know Your Customer due diligence as a first line of defence, to fulfil related compliance and internal requirements

Scope and responsibilities:

· Must obtain and maintain necessary MAS licenses and CPD requirements (CACS, RNF and MAS certification)

· Ensure that all transactions/activities affecting banking and customer interactions are undertaken within the regulatory/ legal boundaries and framework

The Resident Technical Officer shall be directly responsible to the Consultant (Architect) / Project PM for the duration of the construction of the Works.

Shall assist in the supervision of the construction of the Structural Works under the Building Control Act and to render all assistance as may be required by the Consultant (Civil & Structural Engineer) and the Consultant (Mechanical & Electrical Engineer). For HDB Project Civil & Structural / Architectural Works:

Diploma in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering or equivalent.

Registered RTO accredited by the Joint Accreditation Committee of the Institution of Engineers Singapore (IES) and the Association of Consulting Engineers Singapore (ACES).

Preferred applicants with Certificate in Building Construction Safety Supervisors Course.

Ensure that building contractor embrace good construction practise to achieve good workmanship.

Minimum 5 years relevant experience in supervision of building projects in Singapore.

Must have HDB/ BTO projects with commercial buildings supervision experience.

Availability to commence work on short notice.

Able to work night shift and rotational Sunday duties.

DSTA & CAG project experience is preferred.

1. Job description

• Develop, execute, monitor and evaluate the Home educational programmes in accordance with the Home rules and regulations and ensure programmes are kept abreast with the changing times
• Facilitate enhancements to existing programmes with the aim of improving residents’ educational standards.
• Work closely with the Case Management department concerning residents educational matters.
• Responsible for securing admission for all residents in Mendaki Tuition Programmes
• Ensure residents attend tuition regularly, provide physical supervision in tuition class and to keep track of their attendance.
• Render HBL assistance, prepare worksheets and ensure residents complete their school assignments.
• Collate residents result slips and prepare the progress report accordingly to keep track on their academic progression.
• Work closely with the Head of Programmes in programme planning and implementation.
• Undertake programme development and make recommendations for current and or new programme enhancement.
• Responsible in sourcing of venues and refreshments for workshops, programmes and activities
• Prepare academic proposals and grant applications including budget planning.
• Coordinate with various stakeholders to execute programme, manage communications and manage stakeholders’ feedback.
• Engage volunteers or external stakeholders or contacts in supporting the educational programmes and needs of residents (ie; homework support, special needs tutoring)
• Handle volunteer management matters such as recruiting, training, supervising, and evaluating new and existing volunteers in strengthening and developing the programmes in the Home.
• Administer and maintain annual volunteer satisfaction survey.
• Maintain a good relationship with the volunteers through engagements for feedback and assist when necessary.
• Build and establish working relationships with stakeholder, schools, corporate bodies, government agencies, voluntary organizations and existing partners.
• Ensure that all records, accounts, documents, correspondences and notice boards updates are properly maintained and are kept up to date.
• Assist in ensuring the safety, security and wellbeing of the residents under the Home care.
• Carry out any other relevant tasks as required by the Head of Home, Deputy Head of Home and Higher Management.

• To perform all roles and responsibilities required of site supervisors under the Building Control Act. Please refer to Annex A for more details on the list of responsibilities for RTOs.
• To carry out site supervision and inspection of the works including any off-site manufacturing as instructed by the Client, PM, SO, SOR and QP to ensure that works are constructed to required quality and accuracy.
• To monitor progress of the works on site and at any off-site manufacturing facilities and ensure that the site programme is in accordance with the approved construction programme. Any deviations from the construction schedule shall be reported immediately to the Client, PM, SO, SOR and QP. In the event of delays, the Resident Technical Officer shall assist the contractors to mitigate delays but without comprising on the quality.
• To ensure and maintain proper updated records of all works done, including records of tests, inspections, status of works, safety, site diary, material and equipment on site, labour, dayworks, provisional quantities, etc and all other records as directed by Building Control Authorities.
• To study the contract documents and drawings and verify if there are any discrepanciesamong the drawings. All discrepancies shall be brought to the attention of the Employer concerned.
• To ensure that all installation methods and material used are in accordance with the contract drawings and specifications, and report to Client, PM, SO, SOR and QP on any materials that are not conforming to the specifications
• To liaise with the Main contractor and the Architect / M&E / C&S Engineer in the checking and approval of shop drawings, catalogues and samples.
• To liaise with the Main contractor in resolving site problems. All problems on site shall be referred immediately to the Client, PM, SO, SOR and QP. The Resident Technical Officer shall issue sketches or directions as and when necessary. All site memos shall be copied to the Employer.
• To ensure that the Main contractor comply with the Ministry of Manpower’s guidelines and recommendations for construction safety and the owner’s in-house safety management system.
• To attend site, progress, variation and coordination meetings and to keep proper minutes of these meetings.
• To follow up and report to relevant Employer within three (3) days for site issues raised during the meetings.
• To manage the team of supervisors on site to ensure that all site activities comply with the regulations and clients’ requirements and supervisors’ overtime claims.
• To ensure that all reinforcement, formwork, penetrations, etc. are finally checked prior to concreting. All concrete pours during office hours and all critical pours even after office hours shall be supervised by you personally (i.e. standing supervision).
• To record collate and file all incoming and outgoing design, shop, construction and coordination drawings. All old construction drawings shall be stamped ‘superseded’ and no checking shall be carried out on the superseded drawings.
• To generate defects list, supervise and monitor progress of rectification works and ensure that all defects are rectified as per Employer’s advice.
• To advise the Employer on the percentage of works completed for the purpose of verifying progress payment valuation, and to check contractor’s claims and variation orders.
• To ensure that the contractors record accurately on drawings, the installation works on site. This is to ensure that the as-built drawings reflect accurately the work that has been done on site. Also to check against the Employer’s drawings and identify and highlight the changes of variation orders so that Employer can direct the contractor to finalise the as-built drawings and to maintain a set of updated drawings on site.
• To check on quality of materials delivered to site and report to Client, PM, SO, SOR and QP of any materials that are not conforming to the specification. And to verify reports and claims submitted by contractors and to certify and sign on Delivery Orders
• To submit daily reports and updates to HDB based on an approved format. This will include and not limited to daily noise meter readings, daily safety and manpower reports.

Qualification

• Diploma in Civil/Structural Engineering or an equivalent certificate from a recognized institution/university or acceptable to the Commissioner of Building Control.
• Registered RTO (with BCA / IES / ACES) with Min. 5 years of RTO experience, institutional Project working experience preferred
• Good understanding in construction drawings and specification for Structural and / or Architectural works
  Familiar with Singapore Building Control Act and Construction Regulations.
• Good knowledge or experience in several aspects of construction activities
• Experienced in Coordinating Architectural / Structural works with project team
