English Secondary School Teacher (Part-Time)

Think Tank Studio is looking for an English teacher (Secondary school level) with at least 1-2 years of experience to teach and co-create curriculum/lesson plans using our magazines for secondary school students.

Start date: Immediate, project basis

We're looking for someone with:

• At least 1-2 years of working experience
• Aptitude to engage with content and learn to understand context, which is a big part of what we do.
• A passion for teaching and engaging students of different learner levels
• Has to be comfortable and profficent with use of technology in class
• Familiar with the Singapore Secondary School English syllabus
• Willing to collaborate with us to build a curriculum using our magazines, Present Perfect and Represent and/or for our curriculum projects.

Core responsibilities

• Deliver lessons in accordance with our in-house curriculum for students using various teaching methods to ensure a high quality of learning
• Marking students' work and going the extra mile for weaker students
• Managing classroom administration and student reports where necessary
• Establishing and maintaining good relationships with students and parents/MOE teachers
• Create and maintain a safe and conducive learning environment for students, safeguarding their safety and health at all times
