Job Responsibilities:

• Teach an exciting and comprehensive music literacy curriculum to Preschool, PG, and K2 students.
• Provide fun and engaging instruction in singing, percussion, keyboards, recorder, and violin (for the older kids).
• Plan, supervise, and implement the program according to the centre's policies, guidelines, and philosophy.
• Support each child’s educational and developmental journey, keeping accurate records of their progress through checklists, progress notes, photos, and anecdotal records.
• Take on other ad hoc duties as needed to keep our program running smoothly.

Job Requirements:

• Diploma or Professional Certification in Music (ABRSM in Piano, Music Theory, Music).
• Demonstrate musical competency in at least 2 instruments (e.g., Piano, Violin, Ukulele, Guitar, etc.).
• Knowledge of Solfege (do-re-mi syllables), Suzuki Violin, and Keyboard is a plus.
• Creative, inspiring, and full of positive energy.
• Prior experience in classroom teaching.
• Experience teaching music to children.
• Excellent communication and classroom management skills.

Working Hours and Location:

• 44 hours work week: Mondays to Fridays, between 7am to 7pm.
• Location: KINEX (Paya Lebar) or Pasir Ris Mall.
• Monthly Saturday: ½ day on one Saturday monthly, as advised by management.

Responsible for teaching Guzheng CCAs at schools and individual lessons

Requirements

• Proficiency in playing the Guzheng, has a Guzheng Diploma or Certificate of Performance (Guzheng)
• 1-2 years of experience in teaching or related fields
• Passion for music education and inspiring students
• Bright and cheerful personality with confident communication skills is a plus

• Plan and accomplish teaching tasks by following school’s requirements.
• Prepare learning materials to ensure effectiveness of class management.
• Assign homework, correction, grading tests and complete other paper works according to school’s requirements.
• Monitor and communicate student's learning progression with parents regularly.
• Evaluate students' performance to provide positive enhancement to their learning.
• Update teaching and learning materials including short term training and learning materials according to latest MOE syllabus.
• Attend school staff weekly and yearly meetings.
• Perform any ad hoc basis duties as assigned by superior or management.

Job Requirements:
