The job and duties of the Accounts Clerk is as follows :

1. Keeping financial records updated
2. Preparing reports
3. Reconciling bank statements
4. Running accounting software programs
5. Handling communications with vendors and clients
6. Assisting with inventory and database maintenance
7. Issuing checks and making deposits
8. Ensuring smooth office operation

• Perform general data entry tasks, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
• Maintain and update records in the system as required.
• Assist with daily invoice billing.
• Prepare and submit tyre reports and tyre summaries to the finance department on a regular basis.
• Enter delivery orders (DOs) for outside transport into the system.
• Review and verify internal delivery order entries, making necessary amendments as required.
• Liaise with internal and external parties to resolve discrepancies in documentation.
• Collaborate with the finance department and other teams to ensure smooth processes

Job Description:

• Responsible for scheduling collection/delivery for logistic team
• Handle weighing system processes (computerised) and ensure record are correctly captured
• Data entry, invoicing and filings
• Coordinate office activities and operations to secure efficiency and compliance to company policies
• Manage phone calls and correspondence (e-mail, letters, packages etc.)
• Track stocks of office supplies and place orders when necessary
• Assist in managing road tax and insurance renewals
• Perform any other related duties as assigned

Job Requirements:

• Min SPM / GCE “O” level or Diploma in any field
• At least 3 years working experience in administrative role
• Computer literate and proficient in Microsoft Office (MS Excel, Words is a must)
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Fluent in English and Mandarin is required
• Accurate, meticulous and willing to learn
• Ability to work both independently and in a team
• Must willing to work in Tuas South area

Working Hours:

• Monday to Friday 8.30am to 6pm (Including of 1 hour of lunch break)
• Saturday (Alternate) 8.30am to 1pm
