Part-Time Internship Opportunity: Communications and Event Management

We are seeking a motivated self-starter with a flair for communication and a knack for managing events to join our team as a part-time intern. The selected candidate will primarily be involved in the communications work of the foundation’s Education investment projects, and supporting the successful execution of events tied to the key initiatives of the Foundation.

This 6-month internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in philanthropy and the social service sector while contributing to impactful initiatives.

What You’ll Do:

Support Communications

· Craft and supporting communications for our key Education initiatives, with a focus on engaging and nurturing the Foundation’s community.

· Showcase the impact of our work on social media platforms, ensuring it resonates with a broader audience.

· Maintain and update the stakeholder and partner database, while proposing ways to enhance its efficiency and usability

Event management

· Event Planning , managing logistics and participation communications to ensure smooth and successful outcomes.

Others.

· Support ad-hoc tasks related to the foundation’s broader initiatives and goals as needed.

Involvement in other projects may be included depending on the intern’s learning goals.

Who We’re Looking For:

Diploma/Undergraduate/Graduate students pursuing a relevant field, such as communications or social sciences, or those with a strong background in these areas are welcomed to apply. The individual should also possess the following skills or a willingness to grow in the following areas:

· Technical Proficiency:Familiarity with Mailchimp, MS Office, and Google Workspace, along with experience managing databases and crafting EDMs.

· Effective Communication: Ability to create concise and engaging content for diverse audiences.

· Language proficiency:Strong written communication with competent fluency in written English and ability to learn and adapt to the sector terminologies

· Interpersonal Skills: Ability to engage stakeholders effectively, fostering positive relationships with team members and external partners.

Reporting to: Senior Program Manager, with occasional collaboration with other team leads and CEO.

Job Responsibilities:

• Understand customer demands, challenges, and objectives through assessments, information gathering and Customers, technology/industrial engagements
• Collaboration with sales & business development, product & engineering stakeholders including analyse and selection of appropriate hardware, software, and services to create the winning solution offering to customer and markets
• Developing detailed proposals, presentations, and technical documentation that outline the proposed solutions, including features, benefits, and pricing. Presenting these proposals to customers in a clear and compelling manner

What will you do?
