The Job:

• Manage content projects and support business teams globally
• Execute and maintain social media content calendar for several industry verticals
• Develop end-to-end social media content, which includes copywriting, graphic design, and short videos where relevant
• Maintain brand and product content across Wilmar’s site and third-party partner sites
• Support marketing campaigns where relevant, including newsletters and advertisements
• Develop a keen sense of SEO to boost brand and product searchability across key sites
• Develop key product copy for focus products, to be used across online and offline collateral and key documents
• Deliver key marketing collateral, including product brochures, newsletters, and customer presentations, from design to copywriting
• Support global tradeshows throughout the year, with a focus on booth and printed collateral designs

Pre-requisites:

• G.C.E. ‘O’ level or Diploma holder
• Strong commercial and corporate copywriting skills with creative communication abilities
• Experience in product or content marketing, proficiency in MarCom mediums such as emails, websites, social media, press releases, printed collateral, trade shows, commercial presentations, and short videos, with content asset production.
• Multi-tasking and time management skills
• Self-motivated individual with a strong sense of curiosity
• Proficiency in Chinese copywriting, and skills in Photoshop, Illustrator, Canva, or graphic design, would be an advantage.
• A good team player

RESPONSIBILITIES

Purpose

• Play a leadership role in developing communication plans and integrating communications across business units.
• A role in the organization that that requires an understanding of all aspects of media relations activity from strategy to execution and able to work in a fast-paced dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the development and implementation of internal and external communications strategy for Mediacorp group of companies.
• Develop and execute media relations, strategies / programmes, and identify opportunities to build company's visibility using various platforms and in its target business communities.
• Ensure internal and external messages are conveyed in a consistent and professional way that reflects our corporate values.
• Manage and drive key corporate communications projects for the business.
• Manage and address media expectation / public perception which may impact Mediacorp, in a timely manner.
• Act as brand guardian to ensure that that the corporate image is consistent in all communications.
• Directing public relations, corporate communications, campaigns and internal communications to raise the profile of the Group to enhance the reputation and drive.
• Enhance government relations and international relations, and build good media relationship locally and international.
• Support Lead in all Protocol Matters.
• Proactively plan and initiate public relations campaigns to market the "Mediacorp" story.
• Evaluate and monitor success of PR and media activity through regular analysis and reporting.
• Lead a team of communications professionals to strengthen the communications culture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor Degree in related discipline.
• Direct experience in corporate communication in large organizations.
• Familiarity with internal and external communication trends/platforms.
• Proven track record of developing and implementing proactive media and public relations programmes, handling damage control and crisis management.
• Ability to conceive and oversee the implementation of overall communications program strategies, message development and corporate positioning.
• Proven ability to deal effectively and professionally with the full range of external audiences including the media, business partners, regulators, etc.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and management skills (with Media as well as well as internal senior management).
• Possess excellent negotiation, interpersonal skills, well-honed influencing skills.
• Self-motivated with ability to roll up sleeves and dive into details/action.
• Proven ability to work to tight deadlines and must be able to think conceptually and follow projects through from concept to completion.

• Designs persuasive, original work.

• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, design tools, and emerging technologies, applying them creatively to enhance our clients brand's presence.

• Keeps up to date with popular culture and trends.

• Stays abreast of current trends in creative work produced within the Events / Production /Advertising / Marketing industry.

Requirements:

• Ability to submit a portfolio of creative work.

• Well-developed communication skills including ability to articulate creative designs to the Creative Director and/or team.

• Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
