Position Summary

Marketing Communications Manager has overall responsibility for the brand positioning, media relations, events and partnership marketing, database and online marketing for Copthorne King's Hotel Singapore.

Responsibilities

• Assess market opportunities and conduct research to understand customer needs
• Conceptualise and implement marketing initiatives and business strategies to meet company's goals and overall business objectives
• Lead implementation and management of marketing projects to meet critical deadlines and evaluate campaign effectiveness
• Manage day-to-day marketing communications activities including media relations, branding, advertising, public relations and collateral production
• Develop, monitor, and adjust strategic content for channel marketing to drive channel loyalty and business performance and provide critical analysis of strategies, room's statistics and demand factors
• Proactively identify and build new media relations and database
• Provide content creation campaigns for Facebook and Instagram
• Actively engage food and hotel bloggers and journalists
• Update expenses report on a monthly basis

Key Competencies

• Being a self-starter with excellent interpersonal skills, own sound knowledge and good working relations with the media, community and government agencies, collateral productions and advertising agencies
• Able to create and implement successful marketing campaigns
• Strong leadership with budgetary and cost control skills would be essential

Job Description:

• To perform lobby, patrol and escort duties.
• To respond to needs of guests and request of departments/ or staff for security assistance.
• To check on carpark for suspicious activities.
• To issue security passes to contractors.
• Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• 6 days work week.
• Singaporeans and PR only.
• Valid Security License issued by PLRD/SIRD.
• At least 1 year of experience in a similar capacity in the Hospitality industry.
• Positive attitude and able to take responsibility.

The Job

• Helping customers on-site to select suitable storage units, service and/or merchandise
• Process rental / renewal agreements, collect payment and maintain timely and accurate records
• Help customers to resolve requests or issues with their storage
• Check, report and follow-up on any maintenance issues required in the branch you are in-charge of.
• Prepare and submit reports as required

Responsibilities:

• Manages Key Access Control
• Maintain the Log Book for contractors working in the hotel in accordance with company’s health and safety policies
• Operates, checks and performs security surveillance on the CCTV system
• Patrol the hotel building, premises and perimeter on a daily basis ensuring safety, and send reports.
• Member of the CERT team to provide assistance during the triggering of a fire alarm
• Regulate traffic control at the driveway
• Monitor suspicious packages and be aware of bomb and terror threat procedures
• Investigate and report all allegations of theft, criminal damage and other incidents
• Maintain the Security Log Book and send Incident Reports
• Manage undesirable behaviour in a professional manner, intervening and defusing potential altercations
• Handle Loss and Found items
• Liaise with Police in the absence of Security Supervisor
• Report any maintenance or hazard issues to the supervisor on duty
• Adhere to all Health and Safety Regulations
• Any other duties assigned by the Security Supervisor.

A Research Officer position is immediately available at the laboratory of molecular mechanism and targeted therapy, Division of Cellular and Molecular Research, National Cancer Centre Singapore and Duke-NUS Medical School. The responsibilities of this position include: carry out experiments in molecular biology, biochemistry, cell biology, and cancer biology under PI’s supervision; and help PI to manage regular laboratory research activities.

Job Responsibilities

• Accounts Payable function, include booking of purchases invoices
• Manage cash and bank balances, include bank reconciliations and daily bank balance reporting
• Handle cheque and wire transfer for direct payments to vendors
• Prepare and post payment vouchers for direct payments
• Handle petty cash reimbursement and posting to system
• Prepare the quarterly GST return for purchases
