Purpose of Job

The Assistant Manager, Community Services & Programmes is responsible in the implementation and execution of the organisation’s volunteering and outreach programmes:He/She coordinates recruitment activities for volunteers and matches them to the appropriate programmes based on

requirements.

• He/She oversees the operational matching of volunteers to fulfil the programme execution, reviews information materials that are for distribution to clients and volunteers to ensure its smooth execution.

Resposibilties

• Volunteer management

o Develop the recruitment strategy for volunteers and the reactivation strategy for passive volunteers.

o Evaluates volunteer management practices and develops volunteer training/ orientation as well as volunteer recognition and engagement programmes.

o Develop impact measures for volunteers.

o Collaborates with social service organizations, community stakeholders, corporate partners and agencies for volunteer partnerships and maintains networks with local community service and grassroots organization.
