Roles & Responsibilities

• Execute the project to specifications, budget and time scale.
• Establish and/or approve project objectives in conjunction with the Director.

• Chair the Project Quality System Review meetings as required.
• Appoint staff to be responsible for control of documents and records, control of inspection, measuring and test equipment and control of temporary works design and construction.
• Ensure that are activities are carried out to the highest HSE & Quality standards.
• Negotiate price, special conditions and addenda with all sub-contractors including nominated sub-contractors and vet sub-contract documents.
• Agree Final Accounts with sub-contractors and the Client in conjunction with the Director.
• Ensure those bonds, warranties and guarantees required are obtained and submitted and/or retained in accordance with the Contract requirements.
• Review and agree sub-contractors’ interim payment certificates against works completed

- Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or any related field.

- Min. 5 years of experience in project management.

- Strong leadership and communication skills.

Project Manager

Job Description

Provide support in Sales & Marketing activities, execution and transfer of new project to designated operation sites; Ensure successful project to meet internal/external customer goals and quoted standards.

Responsibilities:

1. To oversee Project Department including new product development which include project management, DFM, DFA, mold trial, report preparation and sample submission.
2. To provide direction, leadership on project management including project manpower planning, oversee the coordination, budgeting, scheduling and quality control of projects.
3. Ensure proper qualification of new projects and successful implementation of programs in the production/manufacturing unit.
4. Track and monitor project progress to ensure project schedules and cost objectives are met.
5. Serve as primary technical contact with customers on strategic or politically sensitive issues.
6. Provide support to Sales & Marketing manager in generating quotation for molding projects involving new toolings.
7. Work with Manufacturing on developing and establishing workflows and production concepts (to optimize production efficiency &meet customers’ requirements).
8. Identify and specify engineering requirements for new projects.
9. Initiate equipment procurement activities for new projects when needed (with Purchasing).
10. Plan and execute tooling qualification activities with supporting groups to achieve successful project execution.

Requirements:

1. Degree in Mechanical Engineering Mechanical / Mechatronic Engineering / Polymer Science/ Plastic Tools or equivalent.
2. Minimum 5 years of relevant experience IN new project co-ordination & development in injection moulding industries.
3. Good knowledge of project management & production process.
4. Communicate well in English, organizational and planning abilities.
5. Independent, good initiative and able to multi-task in fast paced environment.

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.

· Ensure that the right project specification is fabricated and delivered to meet Company’s quality standard, and contract requirements.
