The Intern (Regulatory Compliance & Compliance Testing) will be responsible for ensuring the bank adheres to all relevant regulatory requirements, internal policies, and regulatory standards. This role involves conducting compliance testing, identifying risks, and providing regulatory analyses to ensure that the bank complies with all relevant regulations. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of banking regulations, legal frameworks, and compliance testing methodologies.

Key Responsibilities

1. Compliance Testing

• Develop and execute compliance testing plans to ensure adherence to regulatory and internal bank standard, policies, and processes.
• Identify gaps and deficiencies in processes and recommend corrective actions.
• Document findings and prepare detailed reports for management.
• Monitor the implementation of corrective actions and ensure compliance with agreed timelines.

2. Regulatory Compliance

• Assist in the implementation of a comprehensive compliance-matrix to ensure bank wide compliance with all laws and regulations, including gap analyses of business units’ controls.
• Advise on legal and regulatory matters affecting the bank’s operations.
• Assist in handling regulatory inquiries, audits, and investigations.
• Stay updated on relevant banking laws, regulations, and industry practices.

3. Collaboration and Training

• Work closely with internal departments to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Support the Compliance Manager in developing and updating policies and procedures.

Requirements

• Student in a tertiary institution undertaking a degree in Law, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
• Interest in banking field, regulatory compliance.
• Keen to explore digital assets such as blockchain and cryptocurrencies.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Team collaboration and interpersonal skills.
• Proactive and results-driven approach.
• Able to commit to a minimum of 3 working days per week for a duration of 6 months.

The internship will provide and opportunity to the learn the aspects of Compliance, Anti Money Laundering, developing digital strategy for the SMEs, and also skills in team working, developing presentations and data management.

Job Responsibilities

The incumbent assists the Compliance & Risk Team in:

• Assist in Regulatory Compliance and AML/CFT implementation which includes strategies, systems and controls, to ensure Compliance to regulatory obligations.
• Assist in performing Compliance processes including performing AML/CFT checks and due-diligence on the prospects/clients. Also, perform client activity monitoring on an on-going basis.
• Build plans to for the Compliance and Risk teams ensure timely execution of regulatory commitments.
• Prepare and conduct presentations on various Risk and Compliance matters to the firm’s employees.

We are looking for an Anti-Money Laundering intern to support our Legal & Compliance Department and grow our business.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Legal and Compliance Team (LCD) in supporting AML/CFT task on a dayto-day basis.
• Liaise with internal stakeholders to ensure timely submission for alerts generated in AML system.
• Review of Country list.
• MIS reporting.
• Involve in AML System UAT testing.
• Ad-hoc duties as assigned by LCD team.

Requirements

• Fresh Polytechnic Diploma holders/JC graduates, and current university students are welcomed to apply.

Responsibilities

• Assist the AML Compliance department to implement and maintain robust framework for AML/CFT compliance reviews to assess the implementation of applicable rules and regulations
• Keep abreast of AML/CFT regulatory changes and provide timely dissemination of regulatory updates to ensure that the business units and relevant departments are aware of the latest rules and regulations
• Facilitate AML/CFT training materials and conduct regular trainings to all staff

Tasks & Responsibilities

The Compliance Team in Singapore is looking for an intern to assist with a variety of topics.

The successful candidate will also work alongside Ardian’s global Compliance team of more than 20 on a variety of global topics and initiatives. The candidate will be expected to throw themselves into topics and be part of a team solution. The candidate will be exposed to the fast pace and changing regulatory landscape of the various offices. It is expected to have an ambition for understanding and interpreting complex topics.

The candidate will support the team with general Compliance topics such as:

• Conduct second-line of defense controls for the Compliance team
• Analyze, document and consolidate test results for the Compliance Monitoring Programme to ensure that regulatory and group requirements are met
• Review and update guidelines if required based on regulatory changes in order to meet regulatory requirements
• Monitor regulatory developments across Asia, derive recommendations and maintain regulatory horizon trackers
• Prepare and assist with the creation of compliance related reports that will be provided to senior management and the Board of Directors on a periodic basis
• Review documents to ensure that they are compliant with the regulatory frameworks
• Maintain engagement with regulatory counsel, consultants and fund administrators, etc.
• Participate in compliance related projects
• Complete other assigned tasks on a wide variety of subjects
