The Intern (Regulatory Compliance & Compliance Testing) will be responsible for ensuring the bank adheres to all relevant regulatory requirements, internal policies, and regulatory standards. This role involves conducting compliance testing, identifying risks, and providing regulatory analyses to ensure that the bank complies with all relevant regulations. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of banking regulations, legal frameworks, and compliance testing methodologies.

Key Responsibilities

1. Compliance Testing

• Develop and execute compliance testing plans to ensure adherence to regulatory and internal bank standard, policies, and processes.
• Identify gaps and deficiencies in processes and recommend corrective actions.
• Document findings and prepare detailed reports for management.
• Monitor the implementation of corrective actions and ensure compliance with agreed timelines.

2. Regulatory Compliance

• Assist in the implementation of a comprehensive compliance-matrix to ensure bank wide compliance with all laws and regulations, including gap analyses of business units’ controls.
• Advise on legal and regulatory matters affecting the bank’s operations.
• Assist in handling regulatory inquiries, audits, and investigations.
• Stay updated on relevant banking laws, regulations, and industry practices.

3. Collaboration and Training

• Work closely with internal departments to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Support the Compliance Manager in developing and updating policies and procedures.

Requirements

• Student in a tertiary institution undertaking a degree in Law, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
• Interest in banking field, regulatory compliance.
• Keen to explore digital assets such as blockchain and cryptocurrencies.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

We are looking for an Anti-Money Laundering intern to support our Legal & Compliance Department and grow our business.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Legal and Compliance Team (LCD) in supporting AML/CFT task on a dayto-day basis.
• Liaise with internal stakeholders to ensure timely submission for alerts generated in AML system.
• Review of Country list.
• MIS reporting.
• Involve in AML System UAT testing.
• Ad-hoc duties as assigned by LCD team.

Job Description

• Build and maintain relationships with relevant stakeholders in assigned countries, increasing the team's understanding of the business' operations and internal control plans
• Conduct audits of the company's financial, operational, and information systems, including social compliance audit to ensure compliance with established codes, policies and procedures

Job Requirement

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or relevant fields and qualifications in ACCA/CPA/CIA/CISA/CFE/CCEP
• At least 4 years of experience in internal auditing, risk management
• Have had commercial and/or Big 4 internal audit experience
• Experience in the manufacturing industry would be beneficial
• Knowledge of legal and compliance will be added advantage
• Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, or MS Office, experienced in data analytics
• Displays qualities of a proactive and team-oriented individual
• Excellent communicator with strong presentation and influencing skills
• Willingness to travel internationally
• Knowledge of ESG (Environmental, Social and Governance) strategy and corporate sustainability is advantageous.

The Compliance Team in Singapore is looking for an intern to assist with a variety of topics.

The successful candidate will also work alongside Ardian’s global Compliance team of more than 20 on a variety of global topics and initiatives. The candidate will be expected to throw themselves into topics and be part of a team solution. The candidate will be exposed to the fast pace and changing regulatory landscape of the various offices. It is expected to have an ambition for understanding and interpreting complex topics.

The candidate will support the team with general Compliance topics such as:

• Conduct second-line of defense controls for the Compliance team
• Analyze, document and consolidate test results for the Compliance Monitoring Programme to ensure that regulatory and group requirements are met
• Review and update guidelines if required based on regulatory changes in order to meet regulatory requirements
• Monitor regulatory developments across Asia, derive recommendations and maintain regulatory horizon trackers
• Prepare and assist with the creation of compliance related reports that will be provided to senior management and the Board of Directors on a periodic basis
• Review documents to ensure that they are compliant with the regulatory frameworks
• Maintain engagement with regulatory counsel, consultants and fund administrators, etc.
