• Liaise with external auditors on annual financial audits and ensure audited accounts are filed with ACRA on time
• Oversee and participate in ad-hoc finance projects as needed
• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of HR and Finance staffs. Foster a positive and collaborative work environment

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field. ACCA or an equivalent professional qualification is preferred
• Minimum 13 years of experience as a finance professional
• Must have experience in the shipping industry and knowledge of Bill of Lading and vessel costing knowledge
• Ability to communicate and dealing with overseas business clients and preparation of daily reporting to Head Office in Korea.
• Proficiency in both written and verbal communication in English and Korean, enabling effective collaboration with native Korean-speaking stakeholders and comprehension of Korean-language documents.
• Detailed, meticulous and able to work with a tight timeline
• Proficiency in ERP financial software system is a must

Job Description

• Process and carry out end-to-end submissions for funding and accreditation with funding agencies including IBF, IMDA and SSG.
• Processing applications for funding, target 1-2 new programs every week.
• Coordinate with Marketing/B2C team to ensure that the Singapore portals for these programs reflect the appropriate information.
• Submission of claims to funding agencies through gathering the necessary documents. Establish an efficient process for the same.
