We are looking for a Mechanical Engineer to assist in site supervision and coordination for a construction project. Key duties include overseeing project execution, managing progress, coordinating with stakeholders, and ensuring quality control.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in system installation and commissioning.
• Coordinate project planning, materials, and manpower.
• Supervise subcontractors and monitor work progress.
• Conduct site inspections and ensure compliance with standards.
• Prepare reports and documentation as required.

Requirements:

• Diploma/Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• 1-5 years of relevant experience in construction projects
• Good communication skills and project management knowledge.
• Experience in wafer fabs or pharmaceuticals is a plus.

We are seeking a highly responsible and detail-oriented Site Engineer to manage and oversee civil, structural, and architectural projects. From simple tasks to complex plans, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring projects are executed efficiently, meeting quality standards, and completed on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the Project Manager to develop detailed action plans, including resource allocation, timelines, and budget management.
• Oversee site operations, ensuring compliance with project plans, safety regulations, and quality standards.
• Coordinate schedules, manage risks, and perform administrative tasks, such as maintaining project documentation and handling financial inquiries.
• Act as a liaison between clients, subcontractors, supervisors, and project engineers, ensuring smooth communication and alignment on project goals.
• Monitor project progress and address any issues that may arise, ensuring high standards of quality and compliance with regulations.
• Prepare and update project status reports, ensuring all stakeholders are well-informed.
• Assist in resolving project-related challenges by coordinating with all involved parties effectively.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Site Engineer or in a similar role in civil, structural, or architectural projects.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with diverse teams.
• Familiarity with project management tools and software.
• Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
• Proactive problem-solving skills with the ability to foresee potential risks and mitigate them effectively.

Preferred Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree/Diploma in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Project Management, or a related field.
• Knowledge of construction standards, regulations, and best practices.
• Proficiency in tools like MS Project, AutoCAD, or similar project management software.

· Minimum 5 years of relevant experience

· Responsible for the planning activities within a project and organisation planning across all projects.

· Provide project Progress S curve, activity list, logic diagram (PERT , CPM), time scaled logic diagram, Bar chart, manpower histogram, resource and cost curves.

· Publish the planning weekly report of all projects and disseminate to key stakeholders.

· Overall project coordination liaising with engineering, procurement and construction team for the purpose of developing a fully integrated schedule.

· Follow through construction, commissioning, qualification and handover.

· Obtain input from project team members, contractors, suppliers and client to support the development of a baseline schedule, and subsequently to update schedule progress and forecasting.

· Use planning/scheduling principles and methods including: CPM scheduling techniques, Resource loading of schedules, Field Progress Measurement.

· Analyse critical path and highlight to project team.

· Coordinate and support the preparation of monthly spending plan curve.

· Provide a regular management update on the progress of the major activities in process improvements and quality improvements
