Our client is a MNC chemical manufacturer company. They are currently seeking for Senior Engineer – Lab & Technical Services.

The role of the Senior Engineer – Lab & Technical Services includes:

Lab

• Analyse/Evaluate samples based on customer’s request. For example, it will be conducted by microscope, microtome, DSC, FT-IR, retort sterilizer and Oxtran.
• Conduct food storage test and coordinate lab tour/demonstration/seminar when outside company visits.
• Support the management of technical centre with Technical Service/Market Development manager such as budget management, maintenance and task allocation.
• Based on analysis/evaluation result, make report and promotion tools, reviewing result from other lab team members.
• Collaborate with outside company to get better results.

Technical Service/Market Development (TS&MD)

• Troubleshoot, investigate, and resolve technical problems and support new development at customers.
• Promote our new products that will meet customer needs.
• Explore new application and launch new development project
• Promote our products to whole value chain not only direct customers but also indirect customers such as brand owners, machine makers, raw material makers to enhance our market presence and create new projects.
• Investigate market trend such as brand owner’s direction, sustainable packaging design and potential market size.

Job Requirement:

• Diploma or degree in chemical engineering/ food science related study background.
• Technical background including Food science and / or Chemistry.
• More than 5 years in food and/or food packaging industry.

Requirements

• Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering
• At least 7 years of design experience in an engineering consultancy firm
• Must have design experience in hospital, residential, commercial or mixed development projects

Responsibilities

Equipment Engineer (Pick and Place) will provide technical leadership to startup of next generation of Fanout packaging equipment, optimize equipment capability, quality, and utilization through CIP to meet company's goals.

Responsibilities

• Have an in-depth understanding of how Precision die PNP, Pick & Place process equipment working principle and how critical parameters will impact downstream process and to work together with process counterpart to resolve complex integration issues.
• Manage and plan new equipment start-up to support production
• Establish Preventive Maintenance (PM) plans for all equipment and optimize PM for quality, cost, and productivity.
• Liaise with vendors to resolve equipment issues and improve equipment performance
• Identify and assess any safety and product risks, recommends risk eliminations, and control risk through mitigations and safe work procedures.
• Work on continuous improvement projects to improve equipment efficiency and address issues
• Setup tracking system to monitor expenditures
• Provide feedback, guidance and training to AEs
• Familiar and follow up on SPSR, MRB, 8D, TECN, ECN ISO9001/QS9000/TQM documentation for closure of issues / setup system.
• Familiar and update specifications to meet company Quality Standard requirements
• Familiar with SPC, DOE, FDC, ECMS and all the statistical analysis tools to help optimizing equipment robustness.
• Establish and maintain essential spare parts stock inventory
• Other ad-hoc duties as assigned

Requirements

• Minimum bachelor's degree in Electrical / Electronics / Mechanical / Mechatronics / Microelectronics Engineering
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in equipment engineering, preferably in a semiconductor/LCD/Electronics/Electrical industry
• Hands-on experience in maintenance or troubleshooting of high precision equipment
• Self-driven leader and strong team player with keen technical ability, systematic approach, detailed-oriented, excellent problem-solving skills, and positive attitude.
• Proven ability to identify, assess and solve problem

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience in Advanced Packaging/foundry or similar industry background with high precision Pick & Place experience will be an added advantage

Job Description

· Perform detailed radio frequency translation plans and architectures

· Evaluate gain, noise parameters (NF, SNR), dynamic range, linearity, and power consumption analyses to execute a predictable, robust design

· Collaborate with CAD engineers and drive PCB implementation of the design with emphasis on clean power supply design, interconnect design for required EMI and RF transmission performance

· Participate in design reviews and prepare design documentations at every stage of development until the final prototype test and characterization

• Supervise and enhance the reliability of electrical equipment in the Gas Engine Generator (GEG) area.
