How Will You Be Contributing to Our Success?

• Prior to construction phase, make necessary preparation for site construction works: elaborate construction work schedule; participate to the selection and pre-qualification of contractors; prepare or revises work package technical documents for inquiry; review and validate contractor technical proposals;
• Monitor and control the construction activities and work performed by the Construction Supervisors reporting to him, and by the contractors;
• Provide technical assistance and support to contractors to ensure the proper understanding and application of AL standards and procedures;
• Animate and co-ordinate HSE activities: define and up-date the Site Safety Plan, ensures the compliance with its requirements; take corrective actions and follow-up on the treatment of accidents and/or unsafe situations following safety audits; have the authority to notify any contractor to immediately suspend its work or part of its work if the hazard in question constitutes a serious and immediate threat to the safety of persons or property;
• Ensure Quality Assurance and Quality Control on site: define and up-date the Construction and Commissioning Management Plan and Inspection Test Plan, ensure compliance with its requirements; perform quality inspections; open, control and follow-up on the treatment of non conformances and/or anomalies; take corrective actions and follow-up on the treatment of non conformances and/or anomalies following quality audits; have the authority to request from any contractor quality controls, to check, inspect, witness, approve or reject work or part of work;
• Organize the reception, inspection and handing over of Company equipment and materials to contractors;
• Duly delivery weekly report with accurate information and data of execution and complete status on site HSE, construction schedule, quality control, and etc.
• Create, develop and keep monthly updates of the schedule and progress with activities properly linked , required format and usage of the Global WBS.
• Organize, file and maintain project site documentation, make available the as-built documents by the end of construction works;
• Guarantee and Monitor management of Intelligence Property Protection on site.
• Organize the interface and conduct the transfer of responsibilities (work progress, quality, safety, site management) with Commissioning Manager;
• Collect lessons learned during construction and participate to and prepare Lessons Learned Review for Construction;
• Propose evolution to codes and standards related to construction works.

Who Are We Looking For?

• Bachelor degree in engineering (chemical / mechanical / civil) or equivalent.

A Senior Construction Engineer in this specialized role is instrumental in the successful completion of complex construction projects, ensuring they are executed efficiently, within budget, and in strict adherence to safety and quality standards. The position requires a unique blend of technical mastery, project management excellence, and an unwavering commitment to safety and quality assurance.

1. Preparation of maintenance schedule according to clients master schedule.

2. Preparation of progress report and submission

3. Procurement of material/ parts/ components

4. Technical assessment of systems and introduction of retrofit / replacement recommendation to clients

5. On the job risk analysis and preparation of risk assessment procedure.

6. Preparation of method of statement / process for presentation to clients.

7. Perform checks and inspections of entire systems including control parameters attendance.

8. Troubleshooting of fault / breakdowns and rectification according to authorities / clients requirement.

9. Perform full set of testing complying to authorities / clients requirement.

10. Perform maintenance program and complying to authorities / clients requirementt.

11. Attendance of meeting and or site survey with clients.

12. Submission of quotations / costing to clients within stimulated time frame.

13. Maintenance of good public relationship with vendors / clients.

14. Logistic and manpower planning and arrangement.

• Specialising in Facilities Maintenance
• Candidate must possess at least Diploma/Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma in Facilities Management, Building Services, Engineering (Civil, Mechanical or Electrical) or equivalent.
• At least 5 Years of working experience in the related field is required for Executive position and at least 10 Years for Manager position.
• Required Skill(s): Microsoft Office
• Preferably Senior Executive specialized in Engineering - Civil/Construction/M&E/Facilities Maintenance or equivalent.
• Preferably candidates with valid Class 3 Driving License (M)
