Description
The safety officer for Lian Shing Construction Co. Pte Ltd heads the safety branch in the company. He, together with his team, takes charge of the safety of the company and the safety aspects of all projects handled by the company.
- Company-Level Duties:
- Safety Management: Plan and execute company-wide safety initiatives, including toolbox briefings, campaigns, and inspections.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with MOM safety regulations and maintain a good safety rating.
- Facility Safety: Oversee the safety of company facilities, including dormitories and factory yards.
- Accident and Incident Management: Investigate accidents and incidents, determine root causes, and implement corrective actions.
- Emergency Response: Coordinate emergency response activities, including medical emergencies.
- Safety Equipment Inspection: Inspect and ensure equipment, PPE and tools used are compliant with safety requirements
- Project/Branch Support:
- Safety Documentation: Create, amend, and review safety documentation like Risk Assessments, Safe Work Procedures, and emergency plans.
- Safety Consultation: Provide guidance and advice to project engineers on safety matters.
- Safety Training: Conduct regular safety training for staff, including rescue drills and specific safety topics.
- Safety Audits: Conduct regular safety audits on project sites to identify and rectify safety hazards.
- Client Liaison: Liaise with clients on safety matters, including attending meetings and submitting safety documentation.
Requirements
- MOM Registered Workplace Safety and Health Officer
- WSQ Specialist Diploma in Workplace Safety and Health (Level C)
Working Hours
- Monday to Thursday: 8:00am to 18:00pm
- Friday: 9:00am to 18:00am
Compensation
- Monthly Salary: $6000 - $6500
