• Provide day to day EHS support to meet the Singapore EHS requirements, Responsible Business Alliance (RBA), Customer Requirements, KLA EHS policy and program.

Key Responsibilities

1) Home’s Programmes

• Assist in coordinating and reviewing programmes and services within the Home.
• Oversee programme plans and timelines to ensure milestones and goals are met.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to align programme efforts with strategic priorities.
• Monitor and report on programme performance metrics, addressing challenges and celebrating achievements.
• Facilitate communication and collaboration for seamless initiative execution.

2) Secretariat for Subcommittees

Act as Secretariat for the Programmes Subcommittee and Audit Subcommittee, responsible for:

• Coordinating meetings and taking minutes.
• Liaising between subcommittees, stakeholders, and the Management Committee.
• Reviewing and documenting compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Ensuring confidentiality.

3) Data Protection Officer (PDPA)

Serve as the Data Protection Officer (DPO) responsible for:

• Ensuring compliance with the Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA).
• Liaising with the PDPC on data protection matters.

4) Other Duties

• Actively collaborate with internal stakeholders to deliver holistic outcomes for children.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Executive Director or Senior Head, Residential Services.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Preferably with knowledge of governance, audit processes, or non-profit operations.
• Ability to build and maintain strong working relationships with diverse stakeholders.
• Strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong time management skills to handle multiple priorities effectively.
• Able to work 3 days (up to 24 hours) per week

Main Responsibilities

· Sources for vendors and evaluates quotations.

· Negotiates and coordinates with suppliers and cross functional teams for best possible price purchases.

· Coordinates with other departments internally, on stock availability and delivery schedules and to maintain tight inventory control.

· Generate purchase order and maintain the filing system of purchasing records.

· Involved in planning, sourcing and recommending suitable materials, products, goods and services in accordance with desired purchase conditions, from local and overseas suppliers and vendors.

· Ensure procurement procedures and policies are followed.

· Conduct regular review cost effectiveness and performance of suppliers and vendors by making random checks on supplier’s and outlets.

· Carry out ad hoc assignment as instructed by Management.

Requirements

• ‘N’/’O’ level, or Certificate or equivalent in Purchasing/Materials/ Supply Chain Management
• Minimum 2 years of purchasing experience
• Pleasant disposition and excellent interpersonal skills
• Positive work attitude
• Good administrative and problem solving skills
• Able to handle multi-tasking and work pressure
