Job Descriptions

• Ensure that all work activities comply with Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) regulations, site-specific safety plans, and industry standards.
  Monitor the implementation of safety measures and policies across all construction activities.
• Identify potential workplace hazards and ensure that appropriate risk assessments are conducted.
  Implement control measures to mitigate risks, including engineering controls, administrative controls, or personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Work on accident prevention strategies by identifying unsafe practices and implementing corrective actions.
  Investigate accidents, near-misses, or incidents to determine their root causes and propose preventive measures.
• Conduct safety briefings, toolbox talks, and awareness programs for workers, contractors, and visitors on the importance of following safety procedures.
  Ensure that all workers are adequately trained and competent in health and safety practices.
• Ensure compliance with legal obligations related to WSH, including maintaining up-to-date records and documentation of safety practices and incidents.
  Ensure the workplace and work activities adhere to local regulations and standards like the Workplace Safety and Health Act (WSHA).
• Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure safety requirements are integrated into the project plan and execution.
  Communicate safety concerns and work with the relevant parties to implement corrective actions.
• Conduct regular inspections of the construction site to identify unsafe conditions, hazards, and potential violations.
  Perform safety audits to ensure compliance with WSH standards and recommend improvements where necessary.
• Coordinate emergency drills and ensure that the site has adequate emergency response procedures in place, such as evacuation plans and first-aid provisions.
  Ensure fire safety equipment, first-aid kits, and other emergency resources are readily available and properly maintained.
• Assist in preparing and coordinating safety audits by external parties, including regulatory bodies or third-party auditors.
  Provide evidence of compliance with safety standards during audits, such as reports, training records, and inspection logs.
• Ensure that safety signage is prominently displayed across the site (e.g., hazard warnings, emergency exits).
  Verify that safety equipment like fire extinguishers, first-aid kits, and fall protection gear is available, accessible, and in good working condition.

Job Requirements

• Minimum Advanced Certificate in Workplace Safety and Health
• At least 5 years of relevant working experiences in Singapore construction industry
• Ability to work independantly, good safety knowledge and practices
• Good in reportings, communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to advice and coordinate with subcontractors, contractors and etc

Job Description:

· To assist Safety Manager on all safety, health, environmental, and welfare matters, to ensure the Project complies with its statutory obligations and safety requirements.

· To ensure the implementation and monitoring of appropriate safety measures in accordance with the Workplace Health and Safety Act.

· To assist Safety Manager in liaising and co-ordinate with stakeholders, and other Consultants employed by Developer.

· To attend Main contractor’s daily toolbox briefings, conduct regular site safety inspections, and prepare report of observation and follow up on the rectification.

· To highlight areas where training/certification is required to meet the standards imposed by Legislation, Approved Codes of Practice, or H.S.E. guidance.

· To familiarize with the risks and control measures related to each work activity.

· To carry out investigations into all accidents and near-miss incidents and to record the findings on the relevant forms.

Requirement:

· At least 5 years of relevant experience in construction industry preferably 3 years with developer/main contractor

· Must be a registered Workplace Safety and Health Officer with MOM and have been practicing as WSHO for at least 5 years

· Has developed a Risk Management Implementation Plan (bizSAFE Level 2) or equivalent

· Good communication skills and team player

· Must be able to clear any internal security checks conducted by the Singapore Government

· Class 3 Qualified Driving License

Job Description & Requirements

• Responsible for the implementation and monitoring of Workplace Safety & Health and Environment Management Systems at work sites.
• Conduct regular WSH inspections and follow-up actions to ensure safety compliance
• Ensure all Health & Safety policies, procedures, rules and regulations are adhered to and are regularly reviewed, updated and communicated.
• Ensure the Company meets its statutory obligations in all areas pertaining to health, safety and welfare at work, including statutory training and reporting
• Ensure the completion and regular review of risk assessments for all work equipments and operations
• Ensure all accidents are documented, investigated and recommended improvements implemented.
• Coordinate the development of health & safety policies, systems of work and procedures.
• Inspect project sites to ensure safety measure are being carried out at all times

Requirements:

• Possess relevant safety certificates (Eg Advanced Certificate in WSH, Safety Officer's Course or equivalent)
• Minimum 3 years of relevant working experience in Building Construction
• Familiar with ISO45001, ISO 9001 & ISO 14001
