IT Risk Officer

Contract Position

East, SG

IT Risk Management

• Maintain the central risk register for Asia

• Support and assist risk owners to develop risk mitigation/remediation strategies for High, Medium and Low risk items

• Maintain oversight of risks mitigation / remediation plans of High, Medium and Low risk items

• Work closely with IT Project Managers to identify, mitigate and treat residual risks arising from projects

• Collaborate with Information Security function to support implementation and/or mitigation of Cyber risks

• Prepare risk reporting materials to be presented at IT Risk Management Forum and Operational Risk Committees

• Perform internal control validations and highlight exceptions for remediation

• Track, monitor and report on status of controls

• Provide IT risk awareness trainings

• Support IT teams in responding to external and internal audit queries. Review audit reports and provide audit responses

• Track audit remediation plans to ensure timely and proper closure of IT audit points

Regulatory Responsibilities &/OR Risk Management

• Ensure appropriate ethical and compliant behaviour within the area of responsibility by clear demonstration of appropriate values and behaviours including but not limited to standards on honesty and integrity, due care and diligence, fair dealing (treating customers fairly), management of conflicts of interest, competence and continuous development, adequate risk management, and compliance with applicable laws and regulations

Professional and Technical

• Min 10 years of experience, in the areas of Information Technology, Risk Governance or Control, Security or Audit related functions

• Banking experience, preferably in Wealth Management. Sound understanding of various business functions

• Strong technical skills. Experience in IT delivery or implementation and having a good understanding system design is a plus

• Independent worker, team player

• Preferred certification: CISSP, CISA

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Technical Support Officer to join the team in supporting the maintenance and implementation of systems within a large organization.

Mandatory Skill-set

• Diploma/Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or Electrical / Electronic Engineering;
• At least 3-5 years of experience in IT technical support with a focus in Windows Server Management / Administration, and Windows Operating System;
• Good understanding in network and security systems;
• Excellent troubleshooting skills to diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently;
• Ability to support technical change management processes, collaborating with internal teams and stakeholders;
• Consistently adheres to standard operating procedures and corporate standards;
• Strong analytical skills to analyze and solve software problems effectively and the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment;
• Willingness and availability to work on shifts;
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and able to work well with cross organizational teams.

Desired Skill-set

• Relevant certifications such as CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator;
• Familiarity with scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell) for automation and administration;
• Experience with virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V).

Responsibilities

• Provide primary technical assistance and support to end-users for production application systems, ensuring prompt resolution of issues and minimizing downtime;
• Resolve software issues related to remote devices, servers, networks, and security systems to maintain system integrity and security;
• Maintain systems by performing routine checks, updates/patching, and configurations as required;
• Generate reports based on system performance and user requirements;
• Assist users with technical inquiries, troubleshoot problems, and escalate unresolved issues to higher levels of support or relevant teams;
• Support users with login issues, password resets, and access-related queries to ensure smooth and secure access to systems and resources;
• Collaborate effectively with internal teams and stakeholders to enhance system functionality and user experience;
• Proactively identify recurring issues and recommend improvements to prevent future problems and optimize system performance.

Roles & Responsibilities:

Front Desk Management

• Greet clients and visitors in a warm and professional manner
• Address inquiries about services and direct visitors accordingly
• Manage phone calls, emails, and mail
• Handle deliveries and efficiently distribute correspondence

Administrative Support

• Assist with maintaining staff contact list and client records in line with confidentiality policies
• Coordinate staff appointments and meeting room bookings
• Assist with meeting room setups whenever required

Facility Management

• Ensure the reception area is tidy and well-stocked with necessary supplies
• Monitor office equipment and arrange for maintenance when required

Candidate Profile:

• GCE O Level or NITEC in Business Admin Services or other relevant qualifications.
