Overview

The Job Holder will support in building improvement capabilities and culture in the NUHS Regional Health System Office (RHSO), including community partners such as GPs. The Job Holder will be involved in co-developing and conducting quality improvement training for RHSO staff and community partners, as well as facilitate and coach small to large scale improvement projects through the use of appropriate tools/methodologies.

1. Deliver QI Training

• Develop training materials and resources (e.g. training guides and e-learning videos) on quality improvement

Qualification Required and Area of Discipline

Troubleshooting/ Failure Investigations

he Resident Engineer shall be responsible to lead and/or support the troubleshooting of a diverse range of problems that may occur during Plant operation, Planned or Unplanned Maintenance, with the support from the Singapore office and Service Engineering Head Office in Japan. Diploma/Degree in a relevant engineering or technical field• 8 years of proven related work experience, preferably in the Power or Process Industries.• Previous site work experience in Long Term Service Agreements, plant commissioning, field service, and/or maintenance and overhaul of GTCC power plants or industrial plants rotating equipment is preferable.• Previous customer facing experience where there is regular interaction with plant personnel to provide troubleshooting support and to resolve problems.

Strategy Development

• Identify and analyze future trends and historical data
• Develop a strategic plan/roadmap for SAMH Creative Services,integrating services within a wellness center
• Cascade strategic directions through team huddles, providingtimely progress reports
• Plan and review staff requirements, career progression, and
• Identify, define and implement assessment and measurement tools

Responsibilities

• Read measurements to plan layout and procedures
• Determine the appropriate welding equipment or method based on requirements
• Set up components for welding according to specifications (e.g. cut material with powered saws to match measurements)
• Operate angle grinders to prepare the parts that must be welded
• Align components using calipers, rulers etc. and clamp pieces
• Weld components using manual or semi-automatic welding equipment in various positions (vertical, horizontal or overhead)
• Repair machinery and other components by welding pieces and filling gaps
• Test and inspect welded surfaces and structure to discover flaws
• Maintain equipment in a condition that does not compromise safety

Requirements

• Proven experience as welder
• Experience using a variety of welding equipment and procedures (TIG, MMA etc.)
• Experience in using electrical or manual tools (saws, squares, calipers etc.)
• Ability to read and interpret technical documents and drawings
• Knowledge of relative safety standards and willingness to use protective clothing (face-shield, gloves etc.)
• Deftness and attention to detail
• Proficient in English
• Professional Certification (e.g. welding certificate) will be a plus
