Job responsibilities:
(1) Study the tender documents, drawings, specifications, source for suppliers and subcontractors and collate pricing for comparison.
(2) Prepare tender reports and analyze costings for tender.
(3) Present the costings to internal stakeholders and put up recommendations.
(4) Attend tender interviews and answer tender-related queries.
(5) Establish the Project cost estimation and control procedures
(6) Control & report Overall Project Construction Costs/Budget
(7) Project budget forecasting quantity surveying
(8) Team support to the Project Manager in Contract Management Cost Control.
(9) Manage contractual matters relating to cost and delays with the client and the subcontractors.
(10) Review contracts and negotiate commercial terms & conditions.
(11) Negotiate with consultants and resolve contract issue and dispute management
(12) Project management involving the supervision of subcontractors, regular site inspections, liaising with clients and consultants to ensure timely completion of the projects.
(13) Preparation of progress reports, progress charts and interim progress claims.
(14) Adherence to safety practices in the work place
Requirements:
(1) Degree/Diploma in Quantity Surveying, Building or Civil Engineering
(2) Minimum 10 years of working experience in tendering, estimating and measurement of quantities.
(3) Good speaking and writing in both English and Chinese.
(4) With a actual experience of large-scale public building renovation will be preferred.
