Description & Requirements
Roles & Responsibility:
The principal duties and responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to, the following:
1) Participate in risk management activities;
2) Identify unsafe condition and unsafe work practice;
3) Conduct Mass toolbox meetings to highlight safety issues
4) Recommend and assist implementation of corrective and preventive actions;
5) Conduct investigation on incidents or dangerous occurrences;
6) Participate in HSE meeting and safety committee;
7) Assess permit-to-work (PTW) and maintain HSE documentation; and
8) To assist the management in EHS promotion to promote awareness among workers; and
Requirements:
1) Possess Advance Certification in WSH or Safety Coordinator Certificate (Level B).
2) At least 1 years of work experience relevant to the work in Construction field to be carried out by a WSH Coordinator;
3) Possess knowledge of Workplace Safety and Health Act.
4) Possess Work At Height Assessor Certificate or Managing Work at Height.
5) Must be a team player with strong interpersonal and supervisory skills.
6) Positive work attitude and able to work independently.
7) Applicant must be willing to work on 6 day work week and perform overtime if required.
