· Diploma in Nursing and above from a recognised local polytechnic;

- Specialisation in operating theatre preferred;

· Preferably to have obtained Advanced Certificate in Learning and Performance (ACLP) or Advanced Certificate in Training and Assessment (ACTA);

· Currently registered nurse with the Singapore Nursing Board;

· At least 5 years of experience in a healthcare related role;

· Strong knowledge of nursing healthcare and related principles, techniques, and practices;

· Excellent communication and presentation skills;

· Enthusiasm for teaching and mentoring future healthcare professionals;

· Proficient in relevant software and educational tools

Supervise the progress of M&E works on site. Coordination of sub-contractor's M&E work and ensuring the work is on schedule.

Ensure M&E works are carried out according to specifications / drawings for Electrical, ACMV, Plumbing, Sanitary & Fire protection etc.

Ensure contractor comply with all necessary standards, code of practice and safety regulations.

Requirements Degree/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering recognised by Singapore Professional Engineers Board (PEB) in Civil Engineering or equivalent with 3 to 5 years of working experience in the construction industry.

Required Skill(s): Autocad, Microsoft Office

Core responsibilities:

• Manage team of Quantity Surveyors
• Implement and maintain the Company’s Integrated Management System
• Award contracts to suppliers in a timely manner
• Preparation of tender and contract documents, including bills of quantities for early or timely submissions
• Responsible for timely and completeness of taking off measurement
• Conduct contract negotiations during the course of the project in order to ensure issues are resolved
• Monitor project costs to ensure the objectives of the project are achieved in accordance to building contract law
• Responsible for cost control & planning and procurement advice
• Preparation of payment certificates
• Review the suppliers’ quotations for completeness and prepare comparison for Director’s approval
• Assist site-in-charge to prepare project budget including monitoring on regular basis
• Preparation of quotations and progress claims to clients
• Preparation of work orders to suppliers
• Preparation of tender/quotation reports
• Oversee and ensure compliance with regulatory standards
• Attend site show rounds / visits / meetings

Job Specification

Minimum Educational Qualifications/ Experience Required:

Degree in Civil / Building / QS (Min. 3 years of experience)

Diploma in Civil / Building / QS (Min 5 years of experience)

Skills and Knowledge required:

• Bilingual English/Chinese as you will be liaising with English & Chinese speaking clients & suppliers
• Understanding of construction contracts under Singapore Institute of Architects Articles and Conditions of Building Contract (“SIA Conditions”) and Public Sector Standard Conditions of Contract (“PSSCOC”)
• Able to work independently and under pressure
• Good interpersonal and communication skills
• Knowledge of AutoCAD, MS Office

• Responsible for handling all general office admin & clerical support, data entry, document scanning
• Proper filing of hardcopy documents for records and easy retrieval
• Ability to multi-task and meet tight deadlines with high level of accuracy
• Possess the skill, knowledge and ability to manage public relation issues and general project queries with the resident effectively
• Handle enquiries and public feedback pertaining to the project site activities & environment
• Ensuring good report and maintaining positive relations with the residents to work closely with the relevant parties, such as residents, consultants and authorities etc. and take proactive measures in mitigating complaints arising from the construction activities
• Conduct regular visits to residents/tenants affected by the works to gather feedback and keep them posted of work schedule changes

• Ability to prioritize, plan, organize and execute tasks effectively
• At least 3 years of relevant site experience in building construction industry for HDB project, ie BTO
• Other ad-hoc duties as assigned
